Actually i think most of us can -- on a small scale la..

Like i got most of the vehicles but only 1 of each.. so maybe the effect not so nice..

they got a few of each type, look more cool la..

EG got so many snow speeder.. really nice to make diorama la..

I think i'll take time off in feb march after pass my masters and make a nice dio..
*
I think the most difficult thing with a diorama like this is having enough space to display it permanently. Maybe get a big plastic case and use it as a living room table or something. Hoth has had a lot of nice sets and figures released, and it's not hard to put them all together and make a nice diorama, but so hard to find somewhere to put it.

So Malaysia macam mana? UGH! sad.gif

Malaysia prices just went up from RM39.90 to RM42.90 last year, so maybe already factored in?

For me, trooper reissues are always welcome - and given how long they stay on the shelves I think some people feel the same way. You can never have enough stormtroopers or clone troopers anyway. It's when they reissue Obi-Wans, Chewbaccas etc, especially in unpopular molds, that it gets annoying.

Well, the original show was very very boring for me - only the Jedi vs Sith fight was good for me. If they 3Ded that part enough liao.

Those two figures look more like customs.. quite sad from a storyline point of view, but at the same time the idea is really funny! smile.gif

Went to Gardens Isetan last night, and they had a Dewback, Vulture Droid, AT-AP, Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter and that Clone Trooper's fighter whose name escapes me at the moment. The Vintage boxes really look nice - if only the Dewback came in the Vintage box rather than that horrible 3D box. There was only one Dewback left too!!

I got her at Aeon Megamall last week. I didn't intend to buy any more new Star Wars figures, but when I saw her and the card I kena poison. Got her and Nom Anor. One bad thing about this Aayla is that she makes my old RotS Aayla look like her paint has come off... and I used to love my old Aayla so much (because had to go all the way to Singapore to find her). This retro packaging really works for Hasbro - I hope they keep it going for a while (or not, actually, otherwise I have to keep a lot of carded figures). I just wish departmental stores will learn not to place the pricetags on the card, but on the plastic - my Padme Amidala (Peasant Disguise) carded figure (which has a beautiful pic of Natalie Portman) had this horrible Parkson sticker on the top right, and it wouldn't come off nicely. tore off some of the card.. but nothing a bit of black marker can't hide. At least TRU price stickers are polite enough to come off easily.

Didn't realise Aeon stocked Star Wars now - Jusco never did. Maybe Hasbro and Jusco had an argument, and now that it's Aeon they're starting to stock Hasbro products. Great news for us, because I never shopped at Jusco for toys before as most of my favourite toys were from Hasbro.

I prefer the vintage look too - not just because it makes me feel 30 years younger, but having a HUGE picture of the character to cover most of the card makes the whole package look more collectible and beautiful. Especially if you like the character or if it's a cool pic.

You're not alone, Ian. I am a huge fan of the Vintage line too. Makes me feel like a kid again smile.gif

Tears actually came to my eyes when I first saw that vintage boxed Snowspeeder (I think that was one of the first sets they released in vintage style).. memories of a little me whining to my mother to buy me the latest Star Wars toys just came flooding back to me. It's just not the same paying for it yourself, even if we now have the freedom to buy pretty much whichever ones we want.... sad.gif

Just bought a Vintage Collection B-Wing Fighter from 1Toy, Plaza Ampwalk for RM140 today. Always wanted one, last time with the Target Exclusive one I didn't buy because I had no room, and have regretted since. This time still got no room, but I'm sure I'll make room for it somewhere. Hopefully I'll find a nice spot for it before I see the Y-Wing for sale, or I'll have even less room! smile.gif

Going to mid valley today, wanna ask if anybody knows the location of vhobby there, went last time and couldn't find the shop.

My Star Wars sale
*
Sorry, a bit late to reply, but maybe next time you can find it. It's on the new top floor, above where the old food court (near the old vHobby) used to be. Basically go up the escalator on the Jusco side of Megamall (the one which takes you up to the old vHobby, and walk down the mall towards the centre court where the MVEC is. before you reach MVEC you'll see that there is a new floor above you with some shops (e.g. Daiso, which is two stories high). About halfway between the Jusco escalator and the MVEC is an escalator on the side (right side if you're walking towards MVEC), just go up and vHobby will be on your right.

I think you can still get the drois at KLCC Isetan or TRU Sunway Pyramid. If not mistaken is RM139.90 or something.

I'd only be interested in the Mos Espa if they included a Twilek masseuse or two in there... smile.gif

Nice collection - the Vintage series is really taking up a lot of space because really tak sampai hati to open them.

I hate how our retailers put pricetags on the cardboard instead of on the plastic. TRU and Isetan tags are, thankfully, quite easy to remove, but the Parkson ones are a nightmare. Hope you manage to get them all off safely!

I picked up 3 very nice figures at TRU GE Mall today - Gamorrean Guard, Clone Trooper (501st Legion) and ARC Trooper Commander, all in Vintage packaging. Was going to put them in the plastic cases unopened because they really looked nice, then I noticed something different from the others. The "Ages 4 and up" on the top left and "Warning: Choking Hazard" on the top right have been covered with black stickers (the right one is pure black, left one has a circle with 4+ on it). The entire back has been covered with a generic Vintage collection sticker, and there's a little white instruction booklet packed with the figure inside the blister pack. None of my old figures have this - is this a new wave, a rerelease, or a bootleg stock? For display purposes that white instruction booklet is a bit of an eyesore, but they still look great from the front.

Considering how big the old Slave I was, I was surprised how small the box was for the new Slave I - does it come unassembled or something? Are the new Yoda packaging figures only for Clone Wars cartoon figures, or also the movieverse figures?

Saw the black carded Mara Jade at TRU today - wish the hair wasn't so messy... Luminara Unduli looked great, though.
