Yup like babyelf said, check with the bulkers over at Bulk Section around after Raya as there's been a price reduction effective October 24th. Although I have to tell you, Opteron 144 is almost impossible to find nowadays out of the States

And 3Ghz seems not to be a problem on air at stock volts of 1.5v. It's when one gives it the juice and 1337 cooling then things start go random. Time to start investing in good RAM's amok. Cooling shouldn't be a problem since you do have phase-changers

It's per-1000 pricing you know. Unless you know some huge stockers similiar to Dell and stuff, pretty hard to get at those prices
