Test bed :-
AMD Opteron 146 CAB2E 0540 FPMW MSI Neo2 Platinum flashed sideeffect's 1B rev2 Bios TwinMOS Value RAM 1A4T UTT BH-5 with OCZ Booster 64MB Geforce 2 TI AGP Stock heatsink with 92mm Tornado Vcore - 1.475v + 103.3% Vdimm - 3.5v 166 Divider, RAMs run @ 250FSB with 300HTT, 2-2-2-5 ![]() Sadly, SuperPI cannot be archieved cause I don't think its quite stable, just to test out if 3ghz is possible or not. Will tweaked more when my DFI NF4 UT LP Ultra D arrive. |

But not really stable de. SuperPI only for 1M, tried 8M and 32M, both failed.
SP2004 primed, failed in less than a second. |

I can even run my 146 with 1.3v + 103.3% @ 2.8ghz stable, so I think 1.25v +109% isn't a problem for 2.6 to be stable.

3Ghz on air is possible here, for some quick test run and benchies. And could be near impossible for 24/7 usage, unless anyone there dare to bet on that by running on 3ghz 24/7 for a try out.

E6 isn't really much of an real overclocker, E3 is way lots better than it.
@genstapo Well, I believe it can reach 3.1ghz or even 3.3ghz, just that our environment and temperature are the factors, unless we can get OCZ Cyro-Z Phase Cooling on our hands. |
