i m 50+ degree ler >.<

damn.. my opy 170 fail to prime in minutes on core1 at 2.5gig.. but it passes superpi32M.. dunno why.. won't even boot at 2.6 at any voltage.. at 2.4gig is stable both superpi32M and prime95 for all24hrs.. dunno what to do.. tried to loose ram timimng to 3-4-4-8 from 2.5-3-3-7 but also fail to reach 2.6gig.. errmmm.. what to do?.. noobie here.. this time i try to do it myself.. before this my fren oc it for me n it reach 2.5gig superpi stable.. not i try i myself n now downclock to 2.4gig

last time my opty 165 also cool.. full load at 33-34C and i didnt feel good of it coz of my gatewatch reported temp at 40C at full load..
but now with this opty 170, the temp reported by both smartguardian and thermal probe just 1C difference (currently 36C smartguardian, 37C gatewatch)..

if ur temp is real, than i would like to use the same hsf as urs.. but if i am in ur position, i will definitely check the temp using a third party hardware.. just to make sure..
and fyi, i live in MMU hostel. Ask any MMU students who lives in hostel, surely they will say the room is very hot.. esp my room that facing food court

Hey guys, what's the highest ram clock you've gotten with an opty, tccd or otherwise?  I gave up on testing my 146 and stuck with 200mhz 2225 and a 2/3 divider for my tccd.

My default timings are 2.5-4-4-10 - but my tccd doesn't work at any speed other than 2-2-2-5 200mhz with my opty.  No amount of tweaking vcore, vdimm, dividers or timings has helped, not a different bios and not even an Asus A8R.  I used to be able to use the default 2.5-4-4-10 at 300mhz with a Venus.  So I figure it must be an issue with my opty memory controller and/or my tccd because a pair of BH5's didn't have a problem going above 200. 

Guess it's time to go ram hunting.

each time i try accessing CBI it make my system hang/ failed/ instant reboot even im running at stock speed. izzit becoz of incombatibily of DualCore Opteron or only me experience like this??
