Most of the people butthurt because they cant afford to pay/don't want to pay so much for other imported cars and at the same time cant get out of the country to enjoy better car prices outside.
So they resort to flaming those who purchase Proton owners.

Alahai, tu la cakap senang...kill import tax tak habis2. Macam mana Malaysia nak maju, dah ada dah automotive manufacturer, siap dah beli lotus lagi.

But malaysians?

"let me buy imports!!"

"let me buy powerful cars, bmw ftw pung pang pung pang"

beli je, tapi productivity hampeh, nak maju economy macam mana? macam paris hilton?"owh i buy expensive stuffs to help the economy" (WTF?)

Look at the bigger picture, we need proton to provide income for the nation as well, kalau forever nak rely on agricultural industry memang susah la.

Proton can also be used as a platform for our young engineers, tak semestinya engineer proton akan kerja kat proton forever, with that experience they can open their own business. Mana tau next time diorang boleh bukak company baru. or even venture to other engineering field.

Aku kerja dlm oil and gas industry dah banyak jumpa ex petronas worker buat company sendiri, now they are making millions through knowledge and experience gained from petronas, baru la maju economy negara. Even koreans use service from them.

Cakap je senang la, pikir tak cukup panjang, semua nak pentingkan diri sendiri, "asal aku pakai BMW lantak la negara nak bankrap ke, kena songlap ke, janji aku hidup dengan BMW aku" ni apa punya mentaliti?
