I've tried Maxis before when I was still renting in Bandar Utama. Line is not as stable and there is a quota. Only the higher speed packages are the ones without quota I believe.
*
Had been using Maxis fiber for 2 yrs plus for their 10 mbps package which is the lowest speed package during that time and not sure whether consider as higher speed or low speed under your definition. Won't said is very good but in terms of service will be definitely better than Unifi. At least they will give me discount whenever there is internet down without I request for it.

Btw my friend told me that Maxis is renting with TM Unifi port also. That why when TM down, Maxis was down too.
*
Ya......Maxis fiber is using TM Unifi backbone with also same to others include P1 fiber as well. Only TimeDotCom have their own fiber but they only available for very limited area.

I have just move in yesterday and today suppose the relocation will be done but unfortunately because the internal fiber cable have problem for my unit. Means I have to wait again shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif Feel like dying without internet

Another question, any of you face problem for the ventilation of aircon area?

My aircon compressor is overheat because of the grill design cause the heat trap in the aircon area. Aircon guy advice to take out the grill to make the ventilation better. As claim by the management office, certain unit face the same problem but certain unit doesn't. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Can you guys feedback on this? I have no air con to use now cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

my aircond got no problem....
anyway have you take out the grill then? can take out meh??
did the management provide you any solution when you face such problem?

Yesterday the official Daikin people have come and certified that the compressor have no problem and is all cause by the ventilation problem. He even said that for our block I'm not the 1st person who complain this issue shocking.gif

I saw there is 1 unit had took out the whole grill for the aircon area which means that might be the only solution for it sad.gif Last friday they have take out 3 small pcs for the grill after advise by the management official aircon contractor. After that I test again still the same issue and inform them again. Saturday they send guy come to take another 3 pcs out and it seems that not really working. Yesterday after tested by Daikin then I call the management office and they said will send their guy come over to take out the grill for me. Hopefully it work for this time cry.gif

You moved in before TM set up your internet? Relocation means change of address from previous home to Zefer?
I plan to change address too. Not sure if there's any problem with my unit though.

As for the A/C compressor vent I will check with my contractor if there's any problem with the heat flow. Thanks for the heads up. And hopefully you can settle your heat issue soon smile.gif

How is the traffic in the morning? Bad, very bad or insanely bad? laugh.gif
*
I'm actually using Maxis Fiber but because of using TM backbone therefore the TM guy will come to do the setup. Ya and I moved in before the internet being setup therefore there is no internet for me to use now sweat.gif sweat.gif

Morning traffic I will said so far ok.....not really as bad as I thought earlier....I come out from Zefer and head to Bandar Kinrara direction to send my girl for kindergarten and so far no jam at all. Just need to wait for a while for the traffic light.

I see. I still prefer Unifi over Maxis BB. Although price not so attractive but most stable service. Too bad no Time BB at the condo. My wife and MIL said they won't move in there until the internet is up and running laugh.gif bloody streamers

What time in the morning did you leave the condo? Need to prepare for any changes to sleeping hour cool2.gif

If you think Unifi is stable then definately Maxis Fiber will be the same since using same backbone mah tongue.gif

I usually leave house (from my own door tongue.gif ) by 7.15 am and able to reach the main road by 7.25-7.30 am so I think consider ok. Not much different when I stay in Bandar Kinrara

Well in terms of stability of connection I'd say not much of a difference but the Maxis plan I had has a 40gb quota. Major turn off! If current Maxis packages don't have quota then I'll consider them again smile.gif

Seems like the residents there leave for work either earlier or later then. 7AM is most common time for people to leave for work and drop-off kids to school.
*
If you are using Maxis Fiber then there is no quota unless you are using their wireless broadband. I had been using Maxis fiber more than 2 years and almost every night also youtube and no issue for the quota. Earlier check Zefer is not in the coverage in Maxis fiber, I purposely took a trip to go Maxis centre to ask for solution and they did mention only fiber no quota. Therefore I'm not sure whether you are refering the 40GB quota for their wireless broadband?

My husband departed around 8.20 am from Zefer and so far he said the traffic still acceptable. Not sure whether we have lower expectation or what laugh.gif

Actually, I did a search 3 weeks ago through the same site you provided and Zefer was listed as covered and so I applied but UNIFI only got back to me after i have called them a thousand times to check the status and guess what, a female UNIFI customer service operator called me at 7:00pm and told me they cannot provide the installation now because there's something wrong with the hub station or something, I need to wait for at least three (3) months before I can apply again -.-
*
I move in on end July and the relocation of Maxis Fiber (using backbone of Unifi) which took them (TM ppl) to come 3 times (about 2 months) time only got it done.

1st of the time the TM ppl said the relocation can't be finished because of their equipment got problem as you mention. That time I'm also being told no new installation can be done irregardless whether you register under Unifi or Maxis.

2nd time they said the port of the equipment of my unit spoil cry.gif and took them another 2 weeks to settle it. They also blame my unit fiber cable have problem and complain to management office. 2 days later the contractors who send by our management office check & confirm there is nothing wrong with the cable at all.

3rd time....I'm being advice by Maxis to inform management office to get the contractor to stand by when the TM guy come for the installation. It is to avoid the TM ppl pushing the ball to our management again. And finally........got it settle on mid of Sep which is the 3rd installation

WOW! that's some very interesting experience you have been through XD

Anyway, updates from my end. Manage to get myself registered for an installation on 24/10/2015. Wanted to register online so that I can enjoy that first month fee waiver but encountered the same error no matter how many times i tried. It says the package selected is not available for my location. It's only a VIP5 and not VIP30/50  rclxub.gif

Got fed up, walked into the nearest TM centre and signed up.

So, no first month fee waiver. I can overlook that so as long as after installation, the line doesn't F*** me up like how the customer service did.

By the way, how's your connection speed there, decent and stable?

I'm using Maxis package 10MB.....would said so far so good....may be not much ppl had move in yet

I wanted to give Maxis a try initially because I'm already on UNIFI but after much inquiries, their support staffs confirmed to me that Zefer Hill was not within their coverage yet. They replied through Twitter and so, I gave up.

Then again, the fact and their info seems to be contradicting. I'm starting to wonder if Maxis did not brief their support staffs enough on their actual coverage area.

I face the similar situation as well cause earlier I had give them the old postcode number (47100) for that area. Just search it with postcode 47170 & Jalan Pipit 4 or Zefer Hills Residence would able to give you the result. According to Maxis, they will able to provide the same service as long as it show at Unifi website that the area/building have the coverage
