Dear imhong

Please do answer my question below

1 - Right after you take out your unit from the box, what is the 1st thing you did?

2- Did you plug the battery along every time you using the A/C power?

Regards

Hi MSI-MY

thanks for replying smile.gif .

answers to your question:

1. plug the battery into the unit, then put it on my cooler pad, plug AC adapter to laptop and turn on > then just like other laptop running first time, installation... initialization, but the battery show 98% charge when i boot into windows (then i install software, hwmonitor is one of first few software i installed, to monitor the temperature as i heard the device did great job in cooling and it showed my battery was 4% wear)

2. i use with AC power most of the time, but there is a time i wanted to force my battery to charge so i drain the battery until 50% and charge again, then charging stop at 99%. Another time is happened when i sent the laptop back to the shop, i turned it on for a few minutes to show them the battery wear level.

** btw, i put it wrongly by saying discharge rate. i'm actually referring to the battery wear level. unsure.gif

sorry if this is normal for MSI laptop, as my previous thinkpad and vostro doesn't behave like this and my friends' vaio is still showing 0% wear even he have the battery and ac adapter connected to the laptop for the pass 3 years, it just worry me so much and start to ask here and there, seeking for an answer icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

Thank you.
