Hi hironobu85 as stated by MSI-MY
On MSI GE620(DX version) with graphics GT555M 2GB Thread
Dear All
For your information, the "Warranty Void" sticker has it purpose.
Initially, once the sticker is torn, the warranty will void.
But, to ease our customer, that would like to change/add HDD or RAM, we will still accept unit that
1- Harddisk changed
2- RAM Changed/Added
If the sticker is torn but no HDD and RAM upgrade found, the unit will not be covered by warranty. It is best for you to ask your dealer (that you bought your laptop from) and upgrade it for you.
Hope this is clear.
Regards

the dealer told me that it will void the warranty though if I want to change my hdd... I find it best if I can swap it myself, I am not a pro but I have done some upgrading on my desktop so I know a little bit about technical stuff and from what I researched on the web I can see it is quite simple to swap it anyways...
MSI-MY or Sanko has phone no that I can call to enquire about the MSI purchases or can I go to a physical shop to purchase it?? do they sell the MSI notebooks or just distributor/representatives of MSI?
