Just wanna ask. If the electrician or aircond guys hack and install their things before the wall is plastered by the main con, does the main con normally charge extra to plaster back the hacked walls or is it consider in the plastering job scope without additional cost?

in my opinion, if your electrician or air-con is the sub-con of your main con, the main con will not charge extra fee..

if not sub-con of main-con, better doing all those things first before wall plastering to avoid unhappiness/argue

My Main contractor did not charge me extra when he plaster up the wall made by my A/C contractor.

But your A/C contractor need to at least cover all the opening until the red brick level.

If all already plaster smooth smooth, hack and redo again sure the plaster contractor have the right to charge (especially area are large)

In this case, basically should not because end of day the main con still need to do the plaster work. But as other member indication, your aircon folks still need to do minimum work.

I been charged because some area is not covered by the renovation work.

At least ask them plaster until the red brick level, or leave 1/2" before the smooth wall.
