QUOTE(familyfirst @ Aug 10 2015, 05:14 PM) Totally agree with the above. Students will prefer Sg Long and then the mainroad Mahkota Residence unless those hv own transport then only turn to look at Suria Residence due to location a bit further from UTAR than the rest. Will take time .... There is shuttle bus provided nearby Mahkota Garden. Don't this help? Definitely first choice is Sg Long for Utarians.

QUOTE(Desmond Yong @ Aug 10 2015, 03:58 PM) May I know anyone got any friends who are well verse in building bylaws? My water leaking defects doesnt seem to be better. Each time the developer come and fix, it just get worse. Wonder what can I do? I really want the developer to fix the upper unit where the source of the problem is rather than digging holes on my walls. As to date there are 21 pins on my ceiling to block those leaks They are injecting chemicals to push the water out after expansion of the chemical when it gets cold?

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Aug 10 2015, 06:03 PM) so much u better "slow talk" to them.. make them understand what u are facing & also talk to the upper unit people also. tell your problem Really bad and the affected spot should be big and a lot. From what I read, the developer do take their responsibilities to repair the defect. However, the main issue is effectiveness. It is either to continue repair until completion of defect period or seeking outside contractor to fix the issue. But bare in mind that it involved cost (most probably bare by own pocket) and no guarantee the issue will be fixed.
