Any clue to register the Samsung e-Warranty for SME set?
Got it from a lucky draw without a receipt.

Any Samsung dealer here can help to register?

I did signed in to Samsung account but didn't get any SMS. Also, I have SMS my IMEI to the e-warranty check to 62002 and 33802. Both have no reply.
I think their system is down. sad.gif

I think just register Samsung account on your mobile phone app will do. They will auto detect your imei number and send you sms

Just an update:
Official Samsung Service Centre able to check and register your lucky draw smartphone.
Just make sure you bring your phone and the box with all the contents inside to show to the Samsung customer service.

Of course, only Samsung SME set able to get warranty.

By right, the telco should have already registered the phone when the forumer picked up the phone.

I'm no expert on this but here is my point of view.
As long as the shop agrees to provide warranty for your phone from the date of your purchase until the next 12 months. It should be fine.

Just make sure you have the shop's official receipt and ask clearly what is covered for warranty, and what is not.
e.g. touch screen and battery warranty for the first 3 months?

About the e-warranty. That might be true, if the shop is one of Samsung genuine dealer.

My brother just bought a new Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 last weekend.
When he checked the e-warranty, the warranty period almost over (Apr 7 2014 - Apr 6, 2015).

He went back to the shop to check on this, the seller said they have to activate the e-warranty in order for them to claim incentive and reach target.

Can they do that? Is it normal practice for seller from Low Yat to do this...
They only provide  shop warranty.  sad.gif

p/s sorry if this is in wrong topic, do let me know if need to move somewhere else
