Yes calling player as a trash is too far. Maybe they're not good as they were 3 - 5 years ago. But don't forget they served your favourite club well during easy and hard time. The forgotten man / unsung hero, now labelled as trash by his club's fan.

QUOTE(liez @ Dec 20 2011, 09:21 AM) romelu lukaku was actually brought to be a replacement for Drogba. and he was said to be next Drogba... Why didn't let him play in the first team? The same reason why Oxlade-Chamberlain not in the first team. Lack of experience, and not ready for regular fixture. And maybe his style doesn't fit with the team yet.

QUOTE(chitchat @ Dec 30 2011, 07:47 PM) Cahill Chelsea deal agreed, says CoyleLooks like we got a great bargain, consider how overprice an english man normally are, where club pay 15-20m for them but we got an ENGLAND international for 7m Great bargain. But they have to accept the offer. Unless if they want to lose Cahill for free next season. 6 months ago Owen Coyle settled for no less than 17millions for this guy. Indeed, it's a bargain. I suggest you guys take a look at this forum: http://www.chelseafcforums.com/viewtopic.p...=9429&start=200Not to say LYN isn't informative, it is. But sometime it's refreshing to view the matters from different point of view. Because from many post that i read on that forum, they rarely mixed their emotion when stating opinion. So you got nice assessment on Chelsea performance and what to do to improve the situation. I'm not a Chelsea supporter, but i'm fond of Andre Villas-Boas ambition and project. I believe he's the right man to overhaul Chelsea. An opinon from unnamed non-Chelsea fan on Soccernet: I don't think any manager could fix Chelsea at the moment. It's inevitable that when a collective ages it descends in form. AVB needs more time and faith.Have you guys thought of this? There might be some truth in it. Villas Boas try to rebuild Chelsea, surely he need time and patience from the man around him. This post has been edited by Angel of Deth: Jan 1 2012, 09:17 AM

QUOTE(gry @ Jan 1 2012, 07:12 PM) bro, early season, AVB still confidence with this so called aging players. He already said age not an issues. That's why he still discuss contract extension with drogba. That's normal. He's new and tried to win supporter's heart. Kinda PR talk. He need time, faith and support.

QUOTE(ericling @ Jan 24 2012, 07:48 AM) Oh well, I rated his overall game as average performance. Not that good, but it's not bad too. He tried, he press, he makes run, he try to turn and go past the defense. But no luck. Though, that miss sums it all. As a striker, you got to put the ball at the back of the net. Just shoot it. Damn. At least on target. If that was Torres in red shirt, he could've shoot the ball for the first time. But now, he took THREE. THREE TOUCHES. Oh well. You know what, I feel more disappointed about this miss more than the one against MU. Heard we're after Hazard and Willian? Both are interesting players, but I wouldn't keep my hope up until there are bids accepted. I don't understand why AVB keep making excuses to media that we're not after CL cup tied player. We will never going to win the CL this season man. For me,the more important thing is, stay in top four. Fight strong for local league and also FA cup. At least we still have the potential to win for FA cup. CL is just not this year. From Skysports, Shaktar has confirmed Willian bid from Chelsea around 16.7 million pound has been rejected. Though they're holding out for 29 million pound since Willian began to attract European giant. For me, that's ridiculous amount for any football player in this world. Few years ago 10 - 15 millions probably could pry plenty of hot prospect player around world, no matter they're proven or not. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/20...n-bid-confirmed

QUOTE(eeki @ Jan 24 2012, 08:24 AM) young player getting more and more expensive. crazy. academy not delivering well... or has been overlook. chain impact of rich owner.. is Roman started it first? Roman has slow down lately, but during his spending spree prime i can't remember any crazy price for just single player. Most of them well worth their price. Even 30 million pound for Shevchenko was not overpriced at all since his achievement was outstanding. I can only think of Wright Phllips for 20 million which is quite overpriced and Yuri Zhirkov. But these two are good player, just not suit to Chelsea style. Fernando Torres is another story, since other elite club begin to jacked the price and Chelsea badly needed another striker at that time.

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Jan 24 2012, 08:56 AM) and also the season before that we let go Aguero after the bid accepted by Atletico due to the salary issue... what a miss..hahahaha You're right. I forgot about extra ordinary amount of salary that proven / super quality player earned or demand today. I can't believe Harry Redknapp once said that Adebayor earned £220k per week. I don't know who's the highest earner in Chelsea squad today, but i heard Ballack was among them with around £120k which is normal by today standard.

QUOTE De Bruyne has also revealed that as well as going back to Genk on loan this season, he will also be loaned out next season too. It looks like he is not in Villas Boas plan for now, but who knows? Maybe Villas Boas will change his opinion later.
