But how often do you need to change the water in general though?

same here, my betta tank is pretty much complete, clean water and etc, but he still bites his tail, he's a half moon... what can i do sifus to fix this issue?

Not really, but don't go too small also laa, like 1ft tanki would say minimum.. But more space=less maintenance la, all the best!

My betta has a habit of biting his fins if i leave the light on at all.,. Any idea on how to stop this habit? Tqvm gais
