is the trend moving to giant betta? seems like giant betta has limited color.
anyway is the giant one more pricey than the normal size one? other than the size, what's special in the giant compare with the normal one? just wondering. |

tried searching for daphnia or bbs in lfs near my place but to no avail
finally have to buy eggs from grocery store and make the egg yolk for them. is that sure that the fries will eat the egg yolk or they will be kind of picky sometimes? because can't really see whether they are eating the egg yolk or not.. p/s: my another young imbellis keep jumping out from the tank, end up stick to the wall of the tank few times. need me to sapu it back to the water. if i am not around, i think it properly will have to wait till it becomes dry fish then only can fall back to the water =.= |

Hi,
how do imbellis fight against each other? i have 2 male 1 female imbellis in a tank. last night, i saw both the male flare and fighting each other. the way they fight -> use their caudal fin to push each other away -.- instead of using their mouth to attack. is this how the wild type fight? |

From the way they fight. seems more like pushing each other away only. after 5 minutes, they swim together again like friends. maybe that's how they got the name "peaceful betta" ..lol
only able to see their color when they flare (dark, blue, red). or else they will be colorless. =( |
