when I was in secondary school, had kept n bred normal betta before.
used to get local wild betta too, these were typically much smaller than the imbellis n splendens.

question: where can I catch wild betta in selangor??

recently bought normal betta for my water feature (pots) in the car porch. at jln pudu, saw many nice looking females selling for rm15, males were rm20 to 30.

saw a shop labeling their stock as "giant females" going for rm15 as well. but not as beautiful as the super deep blue females ( fully colored specimens , even better than the usual males ).

anyone keeping "giant plakats" ? can post pictures?

hav lost touch with betta, so no idea about new morphs...technically I just like robust n muscular looking specimens.
