You are like expert la where la I dare to kutuk you. I don't even know how to create a simple planted aquarium for my betta. Can betta die suddenly from cold without showing any symptoms? Then need to get heater already but I thought this only apply to countries with 4 seasons. Since our climate is similar to Thailand, shouldn't make so much difference to the temperature right?

Anyway, I know this my weirdo is like off balance when he stops at on spot. It's like when he stops at the bottom of the tank his tail is like trying to float. When I spotted him at the LFS, he was lying side ways on the surface corner of the vessel. Look more like he was tired after flapping his big pectoral too much. So kesian, but so cute. So I decided to get him. Now I placed an anubias in the tank with the leaves sticking out of the surface a bit. He will rest on the leaves every now and then. I hope he's happy and not sick

Is there any harm with these decorative accessories to the half-moon betta fish?

btw, 14 liters is how many feet tank? if tank too big better reduce the water level otherwise the betta will have difficulty to get o2

I want to ask something odd. I owned a veil tail Betta for like one month already. This 2 days he was like staying very still at one position face facing upwards, tail down. He still breathing lah but arh he can stay like that for like 15 minutes long. When i went near him he move around but after awhile he went back this position . Is something wrong with him arh?

did u do any water change? or maybe ur vt is moody? or old liao...

It was Mon i did water changed, he seemed happy that time. His body size looked to me very matured or maybe you called it old lah. I put female at the same tank wif him wif transparent divider arh, very active last week, bubbling everyday but these 2 days like emo macam. Never seen fish so sad before lah. Female seemed fine though just mind her own business dun even dare to go near him. Do you think he got sickness ka Edmund?

haha like that also can. No place to put female, might aswell put there 1st lah let him active lah. If he betul betul sick arh i must remove the female liao. Not sure yet still observe. Water change only 20% also like that. Maybe he makan semut. Got afew ants crawling near by.

mine also like this, morning still active but at night saw him floating face upwards. and next day, he gone to betta paradise. i gave him 3-4 bloodworms during the morning, maybe that was the reason he died(?), for my case lah. or maybe mine too old already, time to say bye bye world.
