u can use bbs instead of MW.. bbs has higher nutrient actually...

im bringing my mum to poison her back about bettas and planted tanks, she used to have 20+ bettas, but not as hardcore as you guys la.. and her bettas not really high grade, but wild plakat, veil and HMPK found in LFS..
remembered one time, we used to smuggle some bettas without my father knowing about it and he keeps noticing the amount of those bettas perday since he always counted them and we end up denying everything

I'm @ shah alam area but can travel a bit I guess. Bbs gives swim bladder disorder? + very troublesome from what I here...

Get daphnias for fries would be good enough.

LOL. That is quite some scattered bubble nest.

You should try to put in a female if you do plan to breed betta provided that you are not worried of the tiresome betta fries raising process.

Only then you will experience the true form of bubble nest, or should I say bubble cloud.

Well, you don't have to breed them. All you have to do is to put in a female and let the male chase her around, he will then start to build the bubble nest if the female shows spawning colours. You may separate the female thereafter if you don't want them to mate.

Haha, LuQEE. Why get another betta if flipmode is super duper busy? Flaring exercise?

for me, 5 more individual male bettas much more easy to care than one swarm of fries..
besides, more bettas = more relax feeling i get when watching them after a hard day's work..

Hmm, quite true. Somehow I feel that it's quite sad to keep them being bachelor. LOL! That is why I spawn them.
