Uh oh! Red streaked fins, lethargic fish. I have since removed the plant as the roots seem to be shedding a lot of "i'm not too sure what' and clouding the water.

Sounds like ammonia or ph poisoning? so aside from a water change is there anything i can do?

all i see are dotted and random spots on the body and will they show their true colour when matured?..can help?

btw, anyone have any issues who always lepas geram at submersible thermometer?
one of my female betta always tonjol her berried belly, butthead and libas at the thermometer lol...
scared it will break, then merkuri poisoning pulak haduh~

Just bought my first batch of bettas today. Rm2 each only.
They might not be perfect, but it sure allows me practise practise

is the trend moving to giant betta? seems like giant betta has limited color.

anyway is the giant one more pricey than the normal size one?

other than the size, what's special in the giant compare with the normal one? just wondering.

want to ask.. Bought a HM male, and a white hmpk..
I just wonder why are they so bored of each other.. it's like they don't display their aggressiveness towards each other..

They are both healthy.

it depends individual.. some prefer giant some may not..
usually giant are more expensive cause more rare and more difficult to breed..
pro: size bigger
con: lazy

Added on February 27, 2012, 1:17 ammost probably they feel stress with new environment.. dont let them see each other for 1 or 2 days (jus use something to block their view).. then shud b alright... otherwise there is something wrong with the water or the fish.. ^^

I wish I can help but I don't know how to judge what's good fancy. I just like spotted or koi like fish. My bettas are not for breeding, just for fun. Btw, I read somewhere b4, some bettas are drawn to red colour eg. termometre red spot. Maybe that's y she ganas towards it

hurm, might be... all those females are releasing their rage on that poor thermometer haha
