I was hoping to get this game as I have some time off from studying. I was wondering if anyone could help me with some info. Firstly, are there many servers for malaysians (as in ping is below 100 and stable). Im a veteran Cod player (since cod 1). Bought black ops and regretted it cause of the servers. Secondly, are there many people still online playing this game at night (ie 2am-8am) Thanks for the info in advance. looking forward to getting this if i can get some info on it first

There's no game server hosted in malaysia datacenter. Most of it came from Fragnetics singapore.

no worries..... sometimes i awake from slp (abt 3+am) there are servers from SG, TW, HK still populated with ppl....

Depending on where you are and what internet provider you're using. If local no problem.. unless ur using *cough* maxis. I normally play till 5am then work at 9am fufufufufu

Im on a 2mbps streamyx line (not shared with anyone) and will play around 2am onwards. Just worried about the ping. How do you think my line will do?

NP AT ALL.

There are PLENTIFUL of fragnetics servers which are singapore hosted. All of them have latencies of 10-25 ms, which is almost LAN like. This is on Unifi btw, I think streamyx has slightly higher latency.

I use P1 to play, avg of 150+- ping(I normally play in kor,jpn and hk servers for conquest) but no problem Seldom lag also. But for flying spaghetti monster or dota, other case la.
The only thing causing the game to run not so smooth is my laptop.

Nearest available server with good ping is Singapore.
