Bought modded ksc-75 as shown in the picture above from idjoel two months ago...i am seriously amazed by the sound this tiny thing can produce..first of all the headphone was recabled with 24awg silver plated copper wire + gold plated pure copper plug and headband..i never had the chance to try stock ksc-75 tbh..in fact i have no idea at all about the stock ksc-75 sound sig..but with my modded ksc-75 i can pretty much say it should be priced much much higher..simple as that..its quite bright..a bit to neutral side..but the bass produced is fun..seriously good..i owned grado sr60i before..good headphone..but i found the brightness made me fatigued easily..i can listen to it about an hour or so..longer than that..i doubt it..believe me this is not some hype or anything..but for starter i would strongly suggest ksc-75..
vocal sounds brilliant on this..really smooth and warm..theres a bit of sparkle on the top...good details..and most importantly no sibilance at all..i didn't notice any sibilance with this...overall this is a great headphone..still very portable..but it does leak sound..with moderate level of volume..i think it should be fine..very light as well..despite 60 ohm impedance..it can be driven easily through my clip zip..it does not need amp..but but..with my PPK..it adds more warmth..refine the mids..yet still maintain the unbelievably good details..unfortunately i have sold my clip zip and PPK..but I will keep the headphone for sure coz i like it a lot..at least for now..credit to idjoel..cheers
