Kelantan fans are famous for away game support. even for pre-season friendlies, they can turn up by the thousands ANYWHERE in Malaysia. And i bet scores will turn up at Jalan Besar for the season opener too. FAS action of limiting the tickets based on nationality thus robbing the right of away fans to support their team is just low. Why participate in M-League then if that is the spirit.

QUOTE(LionsXII @ Jan 5 2012, 09:49 PM) Hi there, it is low. i understand if you set aside SOME portion. But from what i understand from the news, Kelantanese have no avenue at all to buy the tickets unless they seek help from Singaporeans to buy it for them. FAS policy of limiting sales to foreigner is to ensure the home supporters get their fair share of tickets, and not to merely prevent foreigner buying them. In the past national team matches, such as against China and Philippines, foreign nationals working in Singapore snapped up most of the tickets, depriving Singaporeans the chance to watch their team live in action. With the number of Malaysians working and living here, I believe Singaporeans do not want to see a repeat of the above mentioned situation; Malaysians fan flooding Jalan Besar and turning it into an Away ground. I don't see this implementation as "low", but rather a rightful corrective action to allow Singaporeans to watch and support what is essentially a Singaporean footballing project. And as far as I know, allocating tickets sale to home supporters first is the standard practice in most major leagues. Rest well assured, Malaysians fans will not be denied the opportunity of supporting their teams in Singapore. Lions XII will allocate a reasonable number of tickets to be sold by the respective Malaysian FAs and FCs. And as Jalan Besar capacity is rather limited, there is not too many we can give out. Thus to prevent disappointment, do approach your team's admin office for early booking of tickets for Lions XII matches in Singapore. See you around when the season kicks off! This can only be said as a Singaporean footballing project only if you play with yourself in it. But the match involves 2 teams and the fans of the other team has their own project to support their team as well. As you enter our league now, you have to learn to share. i know the feeling of passionate fans not be able to get tickets. As home team, Singapore should have the advantage. i understand if FAS only allow passionate Singaporeans to pre-order the tickets early, but match day tickets should be open to who want it more basis. You also will hard to get tickets for the Kota bharu game, but not because they sell the tickets based on nationality, but because these kelantanese will queue 2 hours before the counter open 2 days before the match. They show they really want the tickets. Even then i sure KAFA will set aside some seats in the grandstand for Singaporeans delegate. To bluntly tell Kelantanese that they are not allowed to support their team AT ALL in Singapore is just low. If Singaporeans really support Lions XII that much, what are they worry about. its your home for crying out loud. |

QUOTE(LionsXII @ Jan 5 2012, 11:16 PM) Due to segregated seating plans, Away tickets allocation will be handled directly by the Away FAs once FAS pass them over. There is no way tickets can be bought via private arrangements unless contracted by the FA themselves. Please check with your respective FAs. I stand by my point that Away ticket is indeed allocated, though severely limited due to JBS limited capacity, and Lions XII have no reason to totally stop ticket sales to Malaysian fans. I'm sure the above mentioned fans are either enquiring a the wrong avenue or the tickets has been sold out. I would advise them to call the Kelantan FA directly to enquire on the availability of away tickets. well excuse us Malaysians for not getting used to the idea of selling and buying football tickets based on nationality. Our single minded idea of the right avenue of buying football match tickets are AT THE MATCH STADIUM TICKET COUNTER ON MATCHDAY....we also depends on the official source for news and the only news from FAS so far, dont mention at all any allocation to the visiting them. If they are any direct source, lay it down here and we can get it over with. QUOTE Added on January 5, 2012, 11:26 pmAfter checking on FAS website, the Singaporean-only rule will only apply for pre-match sale. Depending on ticket availability, Away fans (regardless of nationality) are entitled to purchase tickets on match day itself on top of their initial allocated share that was given to the FAs. As I mentioned, this rule is in place to ensure the locals will get their rightful share of the tickets sold and not to solely prevent Away fans from supporting their team. I know this is not a popular move but be reminded that JBS is a small stadium and the best we can do with at the moment. they only mention that : "Match Day Sales (subject to ticket availability) *Each person is entitled to purchase four tickets upon showing your NRIC card at the sales counter..". Now so absurd is the idea of nationality rules that there are people who think the idea that the ticket counter also except and welcomed Malaysian NRIC as more probable. Surely, right? FAS can just settle this problem by saying simply and clearly that MALAYSIAN CAN ALSO BUY TICKETS BUT ONLY ON MATCH DAY. I have no problem with that. QUOTE(sickx @ Jan 7 2012, 11:01 PM) permulaan baik buat n9.mahathevan punya performance mantap.kalau bukan 2 gol effa jaringkan, memang dia patut menang man of the match. kunalan also very good..... not just effa is damn good... the whole of negeri no star team play like a team. Their pressing game was classy. Kelantan players cannot hold the ball or turn with the ball easily.. the was always some people closing in... this force a lot of error from kelantan... while kelantan midfield give negeri players too much time.... i attribute Kelantan's defeat to Butler stubborness to play players out of position. 4 to be exact. matyo and antwi are no wingers and farhan dan indra are not central midfielders.... |
