Hi,
Just to give some feedback here.
Video is very good quality, smooth and shock-proof too.
However i have audio noise in my videos. Like a cricket sound. Any way to solve this?
*
Hello Bro, the sound was due to the car shaking where the DVR record your interior vibrating sound from the car. IF you noticed, the sound stop when your car slow down. You may refer to the below video to see the effect of road condition generate the noise at min 2:02 -> http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2283807&hl= (This high-end model has already reduced the noise, but it still could not avoid when your car cross the yellow line). I hope my explanation would help.

is this car dvr easy to install? like plug and play?
*
Bob is my customer, he bought the DVR from me earlier. The DVR installation is DIY, no screw driver and tools required. What you need is just mount the DVR to your windscreen, plug the power supply to the DVR and the cigarette power supply. Lastly is ready your micro SD card and slot into the DVR.

QUOTE(mADmAN @ May 9 2012, 03:50 PM)
hi nicety... ive been looking for something for my usage...

my car has very stiff suspension so it is very bumpy....i also use the car for track. so need one that can record everything...

can the mount handle the vibrations...im currently using handphone to record...but i have to mount it on my dash so that it doesnt shake/move..i wanna mount higher and maybe at the rear screen to capture driver and road at the same time.

i need something that can handle the vibrations of the stiff suspension and bumpy roads.. as well as the car's jerks when shifting at redline.

thanks.
*
Hello Bro,

Not sure what mount you use for your handphone, if you use the rubber vacuum sucker, some tips for you, apply the body lotion on the rubber before mount.

My car DVR is using rubber vacuum mount, it mount on the windscreen. If you do not mount and un-mount frequently, there is no problem even with vibration or bumpy roads. If you would like to view the windscreen at the same time the driver then you need dual camera DVR. http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2283807&hl=

Alternatively you could have two camera, but you need to SD card.

this is how i mount the handphone
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

have to mount like this...if i mount higher without securing it to the dashboard itll shake like hell
n the view i want is like this
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

this requires to be stuck on the rear side windscreen...
*
Your mounting is flexible hinge not suitable for camera, the flexible hinge will shake tremendously when there is vibration. You use the dashboard to minimize the shaking.

Look at the mounting below, the hinge is fix, you could tighten the angle with the screw which is much stable. The mounting is design for Car DVR not for hand phone.

You could mount the DVR at any glass surface include the rear windscreen, but need to extend the wiring from the cigarette point to the rear windscreen to have continuous power. The battery could last only 1-2 hours.

bro, do you have unit that looks inconspicuous so I dont have to remove it everytime I park, for catching ppl who scratch car one
*
Thank you for your enquiry bro, I do not have the hidden camera/DVR as it is prohibited by Malaysian custom. The car DVR is designed to record the incident outside your car while driving, it might not suitable for monitoring while parking. I hv PMed you the detail of the reasons behind.

Is there any model we can switch the direction of recording?
*
There is two way to adjust the direction left right;

1). The below model adjust left right from camera.
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2283807&hl=

2). The below 2 model adjust left right via the windscreen mounting :
