i notice 3g signal is weaker compare to 4 and 4s

i have a problem here with i5. It is the auto brightness setting. It works very weird. When detect bright light, it will go up to 90% brightness. When i try in dark area, the brightness doesn't goes down.

i notice my iphone gps sometimes do not work. Depend on area to area. Midvalley mcD/carrefour area gps do not works. No gps icon. Once i step up to higher level (MPH area) the GPS only works.
Weird case, anyone encounter such issue?
