Yesterday a forumer posted n say 100% confirm after he called CS
*
its already in the email... can buy outright after buy 1 with plan..

problem is its only for principal line.. so if ur a principal line so no problem..

but if your sub.... then bring ur principal owner as well to purchase the 1 more outright phone...

Oh reli?meaning buy outright only appliable for those get invitation ? Or u think it is open for those who wanna sign up a new ivalue plan as well?
*
the email only stated for people with invitation that buy from capsquare..

but yeah after that maybe people want to purchase from maxis centre and MEP store are able to buy same as caqsquare event...

the only confirm is people that get invited from ROI... its already stated on the invitation email under reserver your spot

Hope it is not as messy as iPhone4 in The Garden previous years from Maxis.
On Saturday (2 days after launch), the queue was so messy.
1) Those who walk in, no booking, queue up similiar line. Only one single line. In the end, Maxis staff filter out all those people and not within the time range.
2) The 9am-1pm batch, still not done at 1pm. Or maybe they come to queue late. Overflow until 2-3pm. Which means the 1-4pm batch, have to wait even much longer. And this drags on to the next batch.

iPhone4S is better at KLCC, as the queue gets cleared fast.

Hope Maxis at CapSquare will have priority lines for those pre-book. I don't want to waste time there due to Maxis failed-logistics or unexpected customer turnout.
*
yup...I hope the only ones that book for the timeframe at capsquare is only allowed to que so wont be hassle..

hope with confirm ID they will easily filter out non people with the given timeframe...

Sources close to MalaysianWireless indicated that Maxis ordered the most iPhone 5 units in Malaysia followed by Celcom and DiGi. The estimates are that Maxis ordered more than 100,000 iPhone 5 while Celcom ordered 20,000-40,000 units followed by DiGi with 10,000-20,000 units. Some of the shipments have already arrived in Malaysia.

As for the iPhone 5 Registration of Interest(ROI) which took place few days ago, some 150,000 people registered for Maxis iPhone 5 while we believe less than 50,000 people registered for Celcom iPhone 5. These are huge numbers considering that both Telcos can offer better network experience in terms of voice and data service compared to DiGi.

WTF? Mean MAXIS order eh all sell in capsule so left few peanut units to other state and places? =.=
*
that is all what big corporate do la...

sure the largest customer on 1 Telco will surely monopoly the stock first as they are given "privilege" to get a whole lot more based on quota and shipment...

no need to be surprise

I hope this round Maxis will be more prepared.

Only give the phones to the pre-ordered customers and not walk ins!!!!!
*
this year with confirm ID only can go in register hall...

so people who don't have confirm ID they will ignore...

remember to bring the email confirm id and IC print out...

*
Yeah can enter for que.. when reach the tent entrance.. no booking confirm id they will ask u to go home and go back in the morning...

32gb no stock anymore...

So im going for 16gb black... wont have stock for 32gb white and black..

16gb black also already limit stock when i ask at claiming phone counter...

Maybe will refresh stock tml that is mystery...

But no book ppl tonight didnt even get in unless they try tumpang ppl to go till registet hall.. which after that imposibble cause need to register nano sim first before enter register hall...

When im going back... still can see so many que left... no even entering the tent yet...

Well, good self point of view in a wrong topic.
To others who have issues with nano sim, advise is to go to nearest Maxis centre. I had issue after not getting signal and visited to Maxis KLCC as I was queuin for another purchase. I brought my nano sim card serial number together and it has been activated immediately at the counter. No point to call 123 as CS I assume cant activate the sim as it is handled by a different department related to nano sim registration to database.

Just share my experience to tackle this no connectivity issue of Maxis nano sim. Be guided that Maxis really has issue with the nano sim as I did not able to use data last night. It is unacceptable but they will not refund anything to me as they are in the midst of 'improving' the service. Sad.
*
Hmmm how so different?

I call 123 and get I activated and till now no issue with 3G, call, mms and SMS whatsoever...

Why I still see people trying to down the morale of the community that just owned iPhone5

People don't need unnecessary comment like boring iOS and same like 4s

They r trying to get the phone working correctly

How about those unnecessary comments you put somewhere else

This is a wrong post and forum for you to talk about iPhone and not android or other platform

I see one or two in here trying to impose their "iPhone 5 is boring" views onto everyone. I've been using Apple since the 3Gs through every iteration, and honestly iPhone 5 does nothing for me. But there's always the ones who's buying into their first iPhone, or those eager to upgrade from a 3rd generation. Why pour cold water on them just because you're "oh so wise so technically proficient in gadgets"? Not everyone's a nerd. Let people enjoy their phones.

That's was my point

I am agree with u

They didn't see a bigger picture here
