Correct me If I am wrong,

From what I read in forums around here, why some walk in customers can get their phones within the day and always have stock when pre-order customers like me have to wait so god damn long for my stock to arrive?

I think this is a little unfair, as because, Maxis should reserve those limited stocks for those customers on the long waiting list, because they pre-ordered it earlier, and some even paid the deposit and sign up for the plan while waiting for stock.

As for my case, I register myself on the waiting list 2 weeks ago, and they have not even contacted me for my phone yet. When I called Maxis, and they boldly told me the whole of Klang Valley ran out of stock for the 32gb model that I ordered and can't even tell me a probable date of arrival for the next stock intake. However as I see from this forum, certain outlet do have stock coming in from day to day, which contradicts with their statement. Why are they not rationing their stock accordingly?

I could have no qualms and wait patiently if there is genuinely no stock, but I do not see that happening through browsing this forum.

I know this is not within your control as you guys do not represent Maxis, but could anyone here who knows more about this matter could kindly clarify me on the real deal behind this kind of act.

Don't worry I have read it, infact I am getting my phone soon as according to your post. I am just curious to find out while pointing out a flaw in their system, after all it just serve as an alert to others and for any maxis personell reading this thread. notworthy.gif I admire your courage! notworthy.gif. There should be more of you in this world. What you did there was something that I should have done. The problem with people like me, is that we take this kind matter lighty till Maxis can push us around.

What I did was wrong, I should not go to another center to get my I-phone, rather I should stand still and ask like you did! I may not get my phone on the day itself, but at least get a satisfactory answer not an open ended one. It is a matter of responsibilty by Maxis towards their customer.

Thank you for educating me on a valueble lesson.

Holy cow, I was kind of hoping sentral to have stock....but then.....sighs

Was thinking of hitting Selayang or Cheras instead, the one near my house (Klang) is useless no stock for 3 weeks. Staff also don't know when will restock.

Yeah screw reservations, I think I will give Maxis a piece of my mind soon, just like one great former here taught me.

Anyways, happy hunting.... Hahaha, .the 32gb, is still an elusive model.. laugh.gif I will get it one day, no matter how many times it evades me....

Sentral, Selayang, Cheras....are my main targets

Sadly I am working, if not will definitely do it tommorow as on weekdays, chances are higher...to secure one brows.gif

Actually, I bought a unit from KL Sentral last week. However, I am waiting for a second unit which was the one I complained about that I ordered ages ago.

I called 123, and screw them yesterday, I did not manage to esclate it high as the poor CS guy is new and know nuts, I told him that I want a definite answer, and he told me that Maxis will contact me back within next week on my order status. If I don't receive any call by the deadline given, I think I will personally go down to the Maxis centre and clarify this issue.
