was in kl sentral this morning at 8.30

saw a notice stating that iphone 4s line starts here

store opens at 10am

but there was no one then and i had to attend a meeting at 9am

so i left and came back at 9.50 after my meeting

there was 6 pp in the line and i was number 7 (at 9.55am)

best part is that the 3 person in front of me wanted to purchase the phone outright - hence need not register

so i was in essence number 4 but there was 2 counters

so in the end i was the 2nd person served

got my iphone at 10.30

total 30mins wait

so best place is clearly maxis kl sentral

but only thing is that they have limited stock per day, i.e. total 30 units

20 units of 16GB, 16 units of 32GB and 2 units of 64GB

i believe today's stock have been accounted for

suggest to line up there tomorrow instead

I heard Maxis has alot of hidden charges and often overcharges people.If I take iValue1 and pay RM100 per month with a rare calling out, less than 50 smses and a few facebook every week, will I be easily overcharged too?

keep track of your usage for calls and data. am surprised at many complains from others when myself been using iValue for more than a year and not a single time I had a BillShock.

The short answer is no.

The long answer is, please be aware of what you are using.

Calls - Free xxx minutes calls are for Maxis numbers only. If call DiGi/Celcom/overseas/etc. all are extra charge.

SMS - Free xxx SMS also within Maxis only.

Data Plan - Just get a data tracking iPhone app. Try not to browse heavy sites like video, streaming, tethering to PC, etc. Even view videos in FB will incur high data usage.

Also, for the first month, it is pro-rated. Use common sense. If you start work in new company at 16th of the month, of course the company will pay you half-month salary, right ? Do you think they will give you full month salary ? Same scenario, your billing starts when, then pro-rate it.

Free Local SMS (on-net) or Free Local MMS (on-net) <=== on-net mean only free SMS or MMS with XXX to Maxis number the limit as your iValue plan stated ya..

500MB is prepaid plan, but currently don't know still available anot? iValue 1,2,3,4 plan is comes with 1GB, 3GB, 5GB, 7GB data..

why no more iData plan for iPhone 4S ???

yes officially unlocked, can use what simcard as you want
prepaid plan with 500mb data is mobile internet, which under *100#
yes 4s for postpaid, but you can buy it without contract in apple online store
