i have 2 question i would like to ask. Currently im on the iValue1 contract and i have another 2month until my contract expire.

1) what other option do i have beside extending my contract??

2) if say i terminate my contract and how much do i need to pay and could i keep the number??
*
1) 2 options: extend or terminate the contract.

2) termination of contract: penalty charges will be remaining months of original contract.

Hi,

Planning to sell off my iphone 4 after upgrading my current ivalue plan to iphone 4S. My iphone 4 is still covered by warranty for approximately 9 months. If I sell my iphone 4 to a 3rd party, can it be used on other carriers (non-Maxis)  ?

Thank you for helping out.
*
if you do read the first page, it's stated clearly that all Maxis iPhones are officially unlocked hence can be used on any carriers.

No charge for sim cut on the 16 and 17 dec (lauch date of ip4s)

Maxis is on cost-cutting measure this round.

All iPhone 4 customers was provided with new miro-sim FOC instead of sim-cutting during last year launch. smile.gif

until now i until cant accept i was not eligible for i5 launching..ya, i understand we can get it from other maxis outlet or MEP from 14th onwards, but i believe stock will be very limited...

i really duno how they select on who is eligible...reallt TL n wanna jump ship to celcom...

Chill bro. I have not gotten mine as well. Been with Maxis for almost 10 years and went to both iPhone 4 and 4S launch day at The Gardens and KLCC respectively.

Hope is not lost. Still 6 days to launch day so they may be scrambling to send out the invites to everyone. That's what I think.

On another note, first page been updated.

Been carrying the torch for Maxis iPhone thread for the 4, 4S and now the 5.

Now, back to rate plans discussion. smile.gif

The chart a bit misleading, I thought free the monthly fee at first sight haha

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Dec 9 2012, 12:59 AM)
lol so not free 2 month plan ?

also means need to pay either 12 or 24 month plan eh ?
*
Well you gotta read the fine print guys. Here's how it's gonna work:

- There is no such thing as free iValue plan for 2 months etc.
- Advance payment shall be rebated over 5 months. 12 months - RM300, 24 months - RM500
- If say you signed up for iValue 1 - RM100 monthly for 12 months, your advance payment shall be rebated in your bill at the rate of RM60 (RM300/5) per month. Hence, you are only required to pay RM40 (RM100-RM60) for the first 5 months (excluding gov service tax). The same calculation for 24 months contract, ie. RM100 rebate per month.

To the rest, please refrain from posting about ROI, launch day, collections. You may head to the launch day and general iPhone 5 discussion thread for that.

Let's keep this thread clean on focus only on rates and plans discussions.

Is Maxis already change the data policy to unlimited? Just like DiGi practise, if exceed data quota, just slower down the speed but won't get extra charges...
*
Yeap. Has been discussed before. No more additional charges but speed throttling instead once you exceeded your monthly data cap.

So that means, if it's a 24 months contract, we already paid for the following 5 months when we bought the phone and plan, right?
*
If you are taking the iValue 1 as a reference, yes. RM100 rebate for 5 months hence you would have to pay for anything, except maybe the service tax.

For this link, if I choose book ur spot and key in my detail, error shown...

If I choose retrieve confirmation, key in email and contact, it showed booking success with a confirmation ID...but phone detail is empty and with a statement:

Your selection serves as an indication only and is subject to eligibility. Selection of device is subject to availability. Terms and conditions apply.

Now dunno shall I go cal square or better try my luck at other maxis outlet or MEP...
*
The same for me. Shall try my luck going on launch day. Don't think they have valid reason to reject.
