You may find the info from http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/iphone/rates.asp

It clearly says :
***Prepayment of monthly fee is required for iValue plans and will be credited equally over first 5 months.
Prepayment of monthly fees are as follows:

•iValue 1: RM400 for 24 months, RM200 for 12 months
•iValue 2: RM620 for 24 months, RM200 for 12 months
•iValue 3: RM1250 for 24 months, RM500 for 12 months
•iValue 4 for iPhone 4: RM1500 for 24 months, RM1000 for 12 months
•iValue 4 for iPhone4S: RM2000 for 24 months, RM1000 for 12 months
•i3GS for iPhone 3GS: RM840 for 24 months, rebated over 12 months at RM70/month

Since Maxis doesn't honour its terms & conditions, it is sort of breach of contract!!!

Thats not good...i will try to clearify with maxis again about this..

Anyone got rebate back? RM40 every month? I bought 4s on launch day. Using old Iphone 4 line (already finish contract).. Already 2 month but not getting back the pre-payment. The 1st month I thought because on pro-rate so still not count.. But 2nd month still no rebate. What i can see, my bill now got RM200 on top right for deposit.

I didnt get my rebate for the first month..now iam waiting for the second cos the SC told me the rebate will only be deducted on the second month..

Did you pay the exact figure billed previously? Sometimes if you round up the figure like RM80.30 to RM80 when you make payment this happens. It happened to me twice and the guy in maxis told me its because of that.

I got my Iphone 5 together with plan and I got the nano sim for free. I think those charged are those who bought the phone without plan or those who just wanted to change to Nano Sim after buying the phone elsewhere.

u r right..i need to pay rm25 for nano sim at maxis centre
and my girlfriends got free nano sim coz they bought it with plan..

Hi all,

I bought the iPhone 5 at Capsquare and now whenever I switch off the WiFi, the iPhone 5 Maxis 3G data didn't show up.

So ended to data connection (Internet). The remedy is: -

1) iPhone 5 have to power off then power on
2) Do the all network reset in Settings

Does anyone face this issue? Thank you.

Correct me If I am wrong,

From what I read in forums around here, why some walk in customers can get their phones within the day and always have stock when pre-order customers like me have to wait so god damn long for my stock to arrive?

I think this  is a little unfair, as because, Maxis should reserve those limited stocks for those customers on the long waiting list, because they pre-ordered it earlier, and some even paid the deposit and sign up for the plan while waiting for stock.

As for my case, I register myself on the waiting list 2 weeks ago, and they have not even contacted me for my phone yet. When I called Maxis,  and they boldly told me the whole of Klang Valley ran out of stock for the 32gb model that I ordered and can't even tell me a probable date of arrival for the  next stock intake. However as I see from this forum, certain outlet do have stock coming in from day to day, which contradicts with their statement. Why are they not rationing their stock accordingly?

I could have no qualms and wait patiently if there is genuinely no stock, but I do not see that happening through browsing this forum.

I know this is not within your control as you guys do not represent Maxis, but could anyone here who knows more about this matter could kindly clarify me on the real deal behind this kind of act.

yeahh sounds like something fishy here..my gf in the wating list and have to wait for few days..but how come u guys can get within a day?
