Yeah. it starts like normal but blank screen from the moment i on it. Weird thing is all fn. buttons can be used ( i increase the keyboard light) but when i plug into external monitor it wont work even after pressing the switching monitor fn. button.

Ok, i just got back my laptop from my dealer, and they taught me a way to get my screen back on ; pull out the plug and press the power button and and switch power on again, something like that. apparently he said it is a BIOS problem and i have to wait for the update as the problem might occur again. According to him, it is related to hibernation mode where the laptop fails to recover from that and remains in hibernation. Weird thing is i managed to hear the startup sound when it first happened. Oh well, i guess ill keep using it till *touchwood* my screen blacks out again lol.

On the other note, i got my laptop for RM3790. Together with RAM upgrade to 16gb - RM5000. (including installing charges)

weird.. starting to feel laggy in modern warfare 2 multiplayer suddenly and im not talking about internet lag lol. anyone encounter before?

arghhhh.. my games start to lag wtf @!$$S even when i play battlefield with the same settings before, now i can feel the stutters and mini lags. omg so much problem on this laptop pfft. i have reinstalled the nvdia driver but no difference. anyone got a clue?

whats fraps? its already off -.- it was ok all along, just began too lag in all games yesterday and i dint even install anything lol.

yea, i tried to play battlefield as well. it is no longer as smooth as before with the same settings and no applications were open. pfft, bad luck.

done that. Everythings normal. It lags the moment i play zzzz. Im defraging my drive so hopefully it will improve. Tired of reformating lol. My lappie is barely one month -.-

nope im playing modern warfare 2 online and it lags, not to the point where it feels like im using pentium 3 but it is enough to annoy me. i thought it was line connection and then i tried battlefield. sadly, it even show the same symptom with the same settings as before.

by the way, is it normal that the graphic card uses 240+mb during idle?

yeah tried it but no difference felt at all lol. Ive updated my wifi driver and abit improvement lol. Still im facing lags where i can see a screen jump to the other. For example the smoke in the game would freeze for probly 0.01 sec and jump to the next frame, i u get what i mean lol

well, i reformated my lappie and yet no changes. now modernwarfare lags whenever i put my settings at high have to play at low settings. i guess i am one of the few unlucky ones who has the throttle problem :/ by the way, am seeing some improvements using throttlestop, but not all the time.

hmm i just 'felt' the improvement. how do i check fps?

ok. anyway anyone play GTA4? omg its so laggy even at low settings -.-

ok, i have tried to get the readings of my fps. it fluctuates randomly lol and it gets around 30-40 fps most of the time, sometimes going as low as 20. below is the graph that i took a screen shot of, and all this are done on Ultra Level, Modern Warfare 2. Its really unbearable to play at this settings

This is with Throttlestop, doesn't improve much but it stays more on 40fps and doesn't really fluctuate alot. Omg... A G Series Laptop that cannot support Ultra Settings for Modern Warfare 2.. wth.


The GPU USage doesnt fluctuate much, most at the time at 89-90% but this is on ThrottleStop.

OK, without throttlestop, GPU Usage fluctuates to around 50+%-90+%. wth is this??

dont think it has anything to do with power4gear as it was already lagging before i reinstall power4gear. anyway the setting is at 100% for processor state and the rest.

hmm, how to downclock? and why? if dc then wouldnt it lag more?

Oh My God hahaha, i've solved the goddamn problem. i had this problem before where my screen would go blank after waking up from hibernation, thus needing to reset the bios. today, i was strucked again by that problem and after reset, my MW2 gives me a near constant 110 fps but then my local reseller told me before this is a BIOS problem which is pretty infamous if u search in the internet.
are there any BIOS that i can flash to since the version i have now is 205. and if not can i reinstall my bios? anything like that?
