i'm not too keen on targus or swiss backpacks design

price range should be similar to targus/swiss. Around rm300? This is a problem we'll face when buying a laptop that is too big for everything else.
Any G53 users here that can offer their advice?
My previous laptop couldnt stand my architectural softwares. Even after ram upgrades

i wasnt really familiar with laptop specs at that time. Not until i joined a few forums and start researching about them. After almost 2years of toleration with lags, crash and even overheat issues. I've decided to get something that is strong to support all my softwares.
and yes, SSD really makes a huge difference

but asus just decide to screw us over by putting the mSATA slot deep inside the G55. Upgrading a SSD on your own is impossible without voiding the warranty.

but if your softwares can run perfectly fine on your current laptop, i dont see a reason to upgrade.

btw ykgen, the backpack you getting can fit the G55 ka?
not sure my current backpack can fit or not.. to me, buying backpack is easy la.. i trust crumpler
i used to have a laptop backpack n it snapped on me, my netbook dropped hard on the floor together with the bag.. (note: netbook only) so i have no confidence with other brands unless those known for making bags
