back from shop ( n yumcha lol ) confirm keyboard faulty.. there u have it peeps, a spanking new G55V faulty keyboard in 4 hours. a new tip for upcoming buyers.. TEST THE KEYBOARD THOROUGHLY! sorry for caps but i cant stress enuf for it. luckily for me tho that last unit the boss agree to 1 to 1 exchange with mine , plus he gave free 4gb thumbdrive as gift.

lets hope im not meeting these guys often.

and confirm .. the stock ram is a hyundai ddr3 pc3 12800 800Mhz

i asked the boss, what happen if there no stock for 1 on 1 exchange? he said.. earliest 2 weeks.

so , what the backpack/bag for g55v , my free cap ayam asus bagpack barely fit the g55v but surprisingly that backpack is super comfy to wear , if only it was a tad bigger!

making backup dvd now.. 6x dvd needed

after more then 2 hours making recover dvd n opting for data check to make sure burning sucesful

1st try on recovery. a promt pop up

" failed to restore disk from asus recovery dvd/bd "

gimme a break. sigh. so the checking after burning utilities failed?

yep. mine from day 1 , i mean less then day1 ... first 4 hours!

thing is, its take more then 2 hours n yes there is an option where u can tick to make the software check the dvd after its burned to make sure data written sucessfully, n ive did that! n there a last promt after the whole process saying " recovery dvd suceess"

.. and then it just failed when used? imagine something when wrong n u need to recover n get this? ive read from the rog forum n the fella sugest to use win 7 iso instead.. that sooooo beside the point.

im making another set of recory dvd after i get some blanks, btw g55v owner, have u guys make ur own recovery dvd n test it?

Added on May 27, 2012, 7:39 pmn 1 moar thing ive downloaded a mmoprg client n failed to install, no biggie, downloaded a fresh copy from difrent source , but its also currupted! this time im sure bcoz its a parts from rar n it says it currupted. wow twice? should i be worried? now downloading a difrent version from others sorce n see how

third times the charms, installer run smothly. i did how ever done a full with bad sector check.. thanksfully none

6 or more. or more if the dvd backup failed.

cannot ,that 1 piece dvd only got driver n utillities. no OS included. must make urself.

ive tried that , by pressing F9 during boot up , it seem its not working , a promt saying to straightaway boot to windows 7 pop up

maybe u should try too.. there something in the manual showing the steps

rm255 glossy version is nice , but matte ori version compliment the g55 like a rock star with bikini babe

really like this mouse since i dunno when , but last time i wanted no stock allover JB =.=

i found it just nicely fit me hand ( n i have huge hand ) n bluetooth mode seem ok enuf for fast pace mmorpg .. but yea , fps player stay away from bluetooth mode lol
