QUOTE(riku2replica @ May 27 2012, 12:36 AM) Try to check ur VIA Audio software setting when u plugged in. thing is, its take more then 2 hours n yes there is an option where u can tick to make the software check the dvd after its burned to make sure data written sucessfully, n ive did that! n there a last promt after the whole process saying " recovery dvd suceess"G53SX uses Realtek. So it will notify me when i plug something in to the specific jack port. Yes, ur recovery dvd apparently failed. Do a fresh installation please. If ur willing to troubleshoot, redownload the driver from asus website and reinstall it. .. and then it just failed when used? imagine something when wrong n u need to recover n get this? ive read from the rog forum n the fella sugest to use win 7 iso instead.. that sooooo beside the point. im making another set of recory dvd after i get some blanks, btw g55v owner, have u guys make ur own recovery dvd n test it? Added on May 27, 2012, 7:39 pmn 1 moar thing ive downloaded a mmoprg client n failed to install, no biggie, downloaded a fresh copy from difrent source , but its also currupted! this time im sure bcoz its a parts from rar n it says it currupted. wow twice? should i be worried? now downloading a difrent version from others sorce n see how This post has been edited by Revamperz: May 27 2012, 07:39 PM |

QUOTE(riku2replica @ May 27 2012, 07:46 PM) Did u know previously, laptop equipped GT540M is considered gaming capable laptop. And even back in 2009/2010, there are laptop with GT 9600m gt or HD5470m are considered gaming capable during their times. third times the charms, installer run smothly. i did how ever done a full with bad sector check.. thanksfully noneLook at notebookcheck chart, the classification, modern laptop gpu are considered well in their domination in class 2. Then it could be something else is the cause, like hard disk bad sector or its really the file is corrupted. I don't use winrar anymore, i usually uses 7zip as i can test the compression file is ok or corrupted but i believe winrar has that function to test ur compressed files. oh my glorious g55 , no more surprises please! QUOTE(riku2replica @ May 27 2012, 10:43 PM) Backup dvd is to restore to the state when Asus software created image of ur laptop back when u burn the dvds. at the time of burn? not a fresh copy of default factory reset?QUOTE(chennyooi @ May 27 2012, 11:41 PM) 6 or more. or more if the dvd backup failed. |

QUOTE(girugaga86 @ May 29 2012, 11:48 AM) I tried customizing it, upgrading to 16gb 1600mhz since they already come with 12gb 1600mhz RAM, an upgrade to 16gb is onl 28USD. Add along with a 30gb mSata ssd. Price is already around 1600USD. Convert to RM, then its RM5k + yep ram is cheap.. but really that 30gb on caddy or replacing the 1tb? |
