nope..i have the full hd version..i use passive 3d, in which i download a software called iz3d..it converts 2d games into 3d anaglyph(red and blue)..must use the red and blue spectacles..this is called passive 3d.

the below picture is an example of the anaglyph 3d..the iz3d software converts the diablo 3 and other games to 3d this type..so i just wear 3d specs(red and blue ) to see la. smile.gif

if you have the red and blue spec..you can see the image below in 3d( it works on any monitor)

8gb should be perfect bro...many 'babies' games come with the asus g55..all the games trial for 1 hour only..THESE R NOT THE WINDOWS GAMES.it is from other company..i uninstalled all that useless games..what about you?

hi bro,, the shop that alexdino and tomato and egg bought already finish stock.the guy that I bought my g55 from,gadgetguide also finish.I'm from penang and it is not easy to get the g55. But you can try the online shop techhypermart.and they have ready stock of the g55 non 3d model..with that, I hope you buy your g55 soon and join the g army..most of the shops at penang and kl font have the g55, but dbassnut has been telling about gadgetzone, maybe you can try that too..the guy I buy from has finish stock too...so now got two options..techypermart and gadgetzone..but most probably requires you to drive to selangor..r u buying the 3d or non 3d model?

depends..do you play bluray dicsc and 3d movies games? i think spending rm 1000 xtra for that is not worth it..the 3999 should be fine bro..8gb ram is enough..dont need 16gb of ram...got so many bag but wait for your g55 first then choose your bag coz the g55 is thick

Arvinaaa recently bought a backpack for his G55. If i recalled correctly, it is a Camel Active backpack that supports up to 18" laptop. Bear in mind that the G55 is almost the same size as any 17" laptop out there, or even BIGGER. The previous G53sx was almost similar in size with the Alienware M17x. Normal 17" backpack may not fit it as well.

Of course the g75vw ds71 is better..but it is much much expensive..the default ram is 1600mhz..so you can add another 1600mhz ram, but now no shops selling this ram..so I bought 1333mhz ram..and working fine..if you can find the ram, then buy it..if not, 1333mhz oso ok

The g75vw ds71 is not malaysia model..luar negara spec..i would suggest you to not buy the g75 until the malaysia model arrive in 1 or 2 months time

For the activities you mentioned above, porsonally I would recommend you to buy the g55vw s1095v..easy to carry around in university and affordable,

bro..it all matters to you now..if you want to get the best laptop with the best spec at price range rm 4000 below..then go for the g55..it is bulky, but still not a problem to carry around..the cooling, performance and quality is excellent for the g55..if you have a budjet below rm4000, then get the n56

g55 over the n56:
gpu
cooling
looks
power
gAMING
full hd
and many more

n56 over g55:
slightly better in portABILITY
Slightly longer battery life
thats all


so it is up to you..if you can cope with n56 specs, then get the n56. You can save some money and maybe upgradE to ssd, but you will waste the hdd in the n56.if you play games and use more power, then get the g55. Future heavy games will also he playable in the g55 but might not be playable in the n56 due to lower gpu..so it is your choice whether you have budget, you want a light laptop, you want to play games, you want longer battery life..etc etc
