QUOTE(incredibless @ Sep 20 2013, 08:13 PM) can get 2mbps on average in subang, setapak area..even klang 1-2mbps. but indoor still need to improve for the speed as most of the time only able to get 300-600kbps in shopping mall like paradigm, pyramid even full bar. paradigm and pyramid i think still havent upgrade to HSUPA as its upload speed still 300-350kbps..but once u reach outside, even though the dl speed is same, the upload speed will maintain 1.7mbps pyramid signal strength and speed are very random. weekdays can reach 4mbps. weekend <1mbps should be congested and not upgraded problem. But, Digi wont care... aiz |

QUOTE(fat16 @ Sep 29 2013, 08:56 AM) Why Malaysian Gov hate DiGi so much ? If Telenor 49% is a problem, how about U mobile ? See how much the 2.4% gives to government compared to telenor 1st gua....U Mobile start as digital tv servive, then got 3G licence, allow domestic roaming with Celcom then Maxis. DiGi got nothing. Vt has so many business in malaysia that i feel it is reasonable for digi being isolated/boycotted |

QUOTE(jimmylim85 @ Nov 15 2013, 08:44 AM) SmartPlan 58 works by.. 128kbps?First 1GB provided is meant for browsing internet without using mobile type or Opera Mini. Once your 1GB quota is finish, is total lock down. No throttled internet speed usage. What's left with the additional 1GB is meant for mobile app Whatsapp, WeChat and Opera Mini. In short.... it sucks! That's why I retain my Digi SmartPlan 48 even DiGi customer service agent called asking me to upgrade to SmartPlan 58 and I said no! RM 48 type is simple, 1GB usage. Once quota is finish, I can still use the internet freely with throttled speed of 128kbps. Y my smartplan 88 get only ~64kbps.... |

QUOTE(incredibless @ Nov 19 2013, 08:25 PM) tried digi internet prepaid...found that there is no more capping users at only 384kbps but instead manage to get up till 1.7mbps for dwnload and 1mbps for upload on speedtest. subscribe to RM18=300MB monthly. Wow, it is good news for digi prepaid users...Hope the speed can be higher .... |

Pls exclude digi n umobile for this skmm complain...
They dun even have or have enough spectrum to have 900mhz 3g.... It is digi personal issue and improvement to cap prepaid users at 384kbps and uncapped them. And for 1800mhz, just ignore the spectrum, it is for 2g and 4g network.... else digi wont be so poor for their 3g coverage... |

QUOTE(leoboy @ Dec 7 2013, 11:15 AM) are you using the new smart plan 88? i using the previous version of smart plan 88, which is without separate data allocation and the free calls and sms...are you still able to use internet at slower speed after finish using the quota? I tried asking Digi but they can't give a definitive answer... they either say internet data will be throttled to slower speed or some will say internet will be completely blocked off... the FAQ says restricted but that can have 2 meaning!! please clarify this mystery for me That is y i still can suft net... And of coz the new smartplan, the data will be blocked after quota... |

QUOTE(hiiragizawa @ Dec 23 2013, 01:44 PM) Hi guys, hope you can answer my questions: Any TnC stated that we can browse the internet for no quota reduction?i've just started using Monthly 18 today for prepaid on my iphone 5 iOS 7. http://new.digi.com.my/Page/plan_service/d...e_internet_main 1. When i use opera mini on my iphone, it seems i'm still using up my internet quota although it is suppose to be free and not charge to internet quota. Do you guys encounter this as well? 2. Is using opera mini for free specific to certain websites only or is it for all websites? Based on their image under unlimited internet surfing, it shows only the symbol for wikipedia, twitter, Facebook, gmail and yahoo mail. Note that I've turn off cellular access for all apps except for opera mini. Edited: Added iOS7 for clarity I only noticed that we can still enjoy unlimited speed for browsing by using opera mini after reached subscribed quota.. |
