9810 got update to OS7.1 , if you want official OS 7.1 , you can update it via Blackberry  Desktop Manager..
1. Make sure u have backup everything[data/apps]
2. connect your phone with computer, open Blackberry Desktop Manager
3. Update

or, if you want to update to OS 7.0.0.585 ,

firstly, download OS 7.0.0.585 --> 7.0.0.585
install and

follow this step..

Try opening DM first, then only BBSAK.

got OS base in ur pc?

install it 1st.. the try back....

to revert back to old OS, you need to do same method you reload the OS,

if your computer has problem, better dont do it

anyway, you still can do it, on another pc that has no problem..
hang isn't normal in blackberry..

you need always to clear some memory, and using apps such as memboo .. and often do battery pull..at least once a week..

i thought for 9800 .

for os 7 here's a free "app"

1. Call your voicemail
2. While on the call, launch your camera
3. Take lots of pics without the annoying sound
