not a pro either. the reason why it got darker on your face after a while is due to oxidation. there really isn't anything you can do in terms of this. just get something that doesn't oxidized that much. that's why when i want to buy a bb cream or foundation, i will first apply it on my jawline or on face if i got it on counter.. then i will wait for an hour or so before deciding of buying it or not. cus i want to wait what happened after the oxidation.. but some deosn't oxidized or not that apparent.

so, perhaps you can get something lighter in shade and mix it with that bb cream.. or just mix that bb cream with make up base for a lighter shade. hence once it oxidized, it won't go too dark.

some ppl like bb cream for its lighter texture and finish and some prefer foundation for its nicer coverage. i personally think that an excellent coverage is foundation as bb cream can't give you that. unless you have nice skin or not so problematic skin to start with... then you may think bb cream has good coverage. haha!

i am not too fond on bb cream anymore. haha!

as i know from my beauty consultant, the skin color looks darker after few hours applied the foundation/bb cream is due to the oxidize especially if u in front of gadgets will increase the oxidation. Therefore, she introduced me the minerals liquid foundation which it can maintain the skin texture whole day. Currently, i'm in midst to changing my whole set of make up to this brand - YoungBlood. You may find it at any Shins outlets e.g: Mid Valley.

It is slightly pricy but worth it. Have a try smile.gif

you foundation is the most basic step in your makeup routine. it gives your skin a better finish and (depending on your skin type and what type of foundation you use) gives your skin a different texture throughout the day.

apparently the BB cream formula is something that makeup artists use for runway models during backstage makeup. they don't normally have much time to make up the models so they mix the moisturizer, primer, concealer, foundation together, apply it all in 1 step now this mixture is commercialized and known as bb cream. i think. anyway, if you're not much on makeup then maybe bb cream is the one for you. it has everything in 1 tube and faster + easier to apply but for me i've found that it doesn't really cover anything and doesn't control the oiliness on my face at all. i still cleanse, tone, n moisturize my face regardless of if i'm wearing makeup or not. with bb cream i still need to put a good amount of concealer on top, and then. i also need to blot throughout the day so i much prefer my cream foundation

having said that, bb cream is really handy when you're in a hurry or just traveling :0

Skin 79 Pink bottler, once use then I fall in love with it! Texture great, dewy finishing yet not oily but make sure you buy the authentic one, a lot of fake one in the market, I got in in sg watson with anti fake sticker smile.gif
