The 'best' sound system can range into the realm of 5-figure, or even 6-figure amounts. So just state your budget and stick with it. Me suggests setting a target of <10k first

QUOTE(craziechild @ Dec 2 2011, 02:35 AM) then you spend 4k liao... then slowly slowly you upgrade till 10k la... this is exactly what happened to me, so dont think he is joking, source for 2nd hand stuff, IMHO you can get good quality product at great prices, like many sifu said, attend tt or go to audio shops and learn which one to change first or tell them what do you need. choosing audio shops can be tricky so choose wisely, im not gona name any shops, but you can search the forum and find out the good ones. again, remember what bro craziechild said.

Well, there are many reputable shops you can go for. Best you contact them and give them your budget. The more reputable ones would be Audio Creations, EA Autoworks, KK Lau Audio, KF Audio etc~ Mine was done by Audio Creations though up to you who you want to go for

If you like bass, then first u go for 12" or 15" woofers , preferrably double magnet/ double voice coils, customade a ported/ vented box. Get a 2-channel mono amp... I think budget RM2k can get some decent brand. if you tight on budget, put one 15" or one 12" sufficient liao... next time only put two if u want more bass...

More importantly, rms power to feed the sub, power supply upgrade for feng tau kaki, the design of the box and most important is ur TUNING
