can these players play rmvb files with soft subs or will softsub only work with certain video format only? what about video files with embedded dual audio that you have to select right or left output for the required audio language? can i select the output via the player menu?

the most important thing for me is play rmvb files with subtitles

my Sharp tv is able to play most of my downloaded files including rmvb but subtitle is displayed only halfway through any drama/movie in very small fonts which are very hard to read and not adjustable. then also i get a audio/video synch problem when playing certain avi and most mkv files. so i'm looking for something that's able to complement the lack.

this is my first time getting such player so i'm not quite sure what else i can do with it or what other function/feature i need. what models would you recommend offhand? i don't usually watch online streaming so that's not really a must have feature for me because i hate bufferings and my internet connection sucks when it comes to live streaming.

thanks yangxi. received my package this morning before i left my house. very quick and prompt delivery. my only complain is the machine I receive doesn't seem new because there are very fine scratches all around the side of front panel where the sticky plastic doesn't cover and there's even some scratches on the plastic sticker too. not sure why is that. other than that it seems to work fine but will need more testing.

I don't know about Diyomate but I bought the V11 and I can confirm that it will load srt subtitle when playing rmvb files. Maybe yangxi can confirm if Diyomate should work the same way or you can consider getting the V11?
