what is the difference between 1186 and 1283 chipset? so which one is the better one?

1283 chipset only model can record.. (no more stock).


4th gen Realtek 1186 is latest.. can support 3d bdiso , 1.4 hdmi 12bit color support.

For the new Android tv box,

1) Does it support samba / UPNP /DLNA (streaming video from NAS) ?
2) Can the home screen be customised ?
3) Can the current OS 2.3 upgrade to 4 ?
