Call 1300300300. They'll help you check which branch and all. But most of the time it'll be at the main branch in your area (like mine). Then provide details, all done. Easier and faster too.

I just called up Poslaju to confirm on the deliveries as I've got parcels to send out to some buyers.

Unfortunately, they are still collecting stuffs but then, deliveries will only resume next week. According to the guy, they have collected A LOT of stuffs now and when he stressed on "A LOT".... I stopped and decided to send out my parcels after Raya.

Although they have not failed me, still, it's a risk not to take. You have been warned.

^Yes, I trust they have a lot of work to do now, much more than usual. I was at my usual Poslaju center for an hour to send our a small item and there were tons of customers that kept coming in.

To everyone, please avoid sending anything during festive seasons. There's the risk that it will get missing, especially when there's so many parcels to send out. Either missing or it will definitely take a longer time to reach the destination.

Yeah. I understood when the guy told me "We're still collecting stuffs but we are not sending them out at the moment. We have a lot of things with us right now."

Ahhh.. The warnings. It's better if one can just talk to the buyer/recipient to inform them especially when one is using PosLaju. Send by next week or something would be much safer for now.

can we just go to the pos office to pick up the parcel, instead of waiting for the postmen to deliver to our house?
*
Yes, go to the main branch where they dispatch all the items. Call them to inform them early like what I do as sometimes I had to collect an item from the PPL.

By the way, you can call the hotline and they'll help you to inform the people via fax or email, or just call the PPL straightaway. I tried both before. smile.gif

No probs. Calling (Helpline or PPL) works fast. Sometimes I call them around 8+ in the morning that I'll be collecting in the afternoon. Unfortunately, there's once when I called late and the item was on the move. Lol. Had to meet the guy some place to grab my item.

It's sad lately that the site isn't updated fast enough for me to track the items from a buying and selling perspective. Last time, it's updated around 9 - 10pm but now, reaching 11pm, it has yet to be updated.

Poslaju handles parcel post as well. The 1-3 months thing is parcel post. I'm not sure if Poslaju ship internationally and how long it'll take. It's best to check with Poslaju directly. There's also sending by air or sea, obviously by air will be faster and more expensive.

Usually if time is a concern, I'll use more establish courier companies like FedEx or DHL to post internationally. I'm not sure about UK postal service but if ppl from overseas send things here and they get taxed, the recipient will have to pay before the custom release it. Again, I do not know if UK custom tax phones delivered into UK.

They do ship internationally though the time for the items being sent might vary from countries. I've tried sending a small package back to NZ once, and if my memory serves me right, it took like one week+. Well, that is, if my memory serves me right. sweat.gif

Anyway, they do ship internationally. Lol.

Alright thanks man.

Do take note though, it will depend on the place that you are sending it to. Still, I am still very much satisfied with their deliveries up till today. biggrin.gif

yup agreed....

so far i have no problem with poslaju...

There's an occasion where i did not realize the address is out of their service coverage...i started to worry when the parcel stuck at the post office for more than 2 weeks...but after some email correspondence and special arrangement, my receiver finally got the parcel...

i know many complaints on poslaju but so far i find it the best value haha...
*
Yes. And if you request them to send in the morning and make a call when send, they would do it happily too. I just did it 2 days ago. The dispatch guy called me up at 745 to inform me that he'll meet me around 1030 - 11. He made it another point to inform me when he's about to reach my place too.

Is the poslaju tracking realtime? Or how long  intervals they update?
*
Depending on the area that you're in. And it is definitely not realtime. Still, one can estimate it easily if you've used them for quite some time.
