Anyone can help here?

I was wondering how post laju actually charge?

I am being charged RM9.95 for a parcel from KL to Ipoh using poslaju. How is it counted?

Weight : 1.138KG
Printed some of the stuff that I can see. Please see below : -
RM7.50 CUKAI (6%) RM0.57
SUR RM0 INSURANS
SBA & SP RM1.88

TOTAL = RM9.95

What is the SBA & SP charges?

Based on Pos Malaysia website: http://www.pos.com.my/pos/appl/general_mail_rate.asp

QUOTE
Poslaju Rates For Within Peninsular Malaysia / Sabah / Sarawak

Tariff For Weight Not More Than  1.138 Kg =1138 gm

Poslaju Tariff For Document:

First 500gm
(RM) Next 250gm
(RM) Amount
(RM) Maximum Weight
(Kg)
4.50 1.00 4.50 + (3 x 1.00) = 7.50 2

Total Amount :  RM 7.50

Note :
The above amount is not inclusive of 15% fuel surcharge, 10% handling charges and 6% GST
No 6% GST for item posted from Langkawi and Labuan

I assume it's fuel surcharge and handling charges.

Those of you who have account with PosLaju, have you experienced being charged for something you did not send?

I just received my invoice and I found that I'm being charged on postage that I did not make.

I already bolded the following:
"The above amount is not inclusive of 15% fuel surcharge, 10% handling charges and 6% GST"

RM7.50 x (15+10)% = RM1.875

You don't need a Poslaju account to request for pickup.
Anyone can by calling Poslaju helpline.

You can get quite some info from Pos Malaysia website. Use this: http://www.pos.com.my/pos/personal/rates.aspx

They will pay you by cheque. Their maximum liability is RM300, they will pay you based on their assessed value of the parcel. It really depends on your luck, no guarantee. But there are successful claim case.

Is it wise to truthfully fill in the value of an expensive product that I wish to send? EG-if i were to courier a Macbook Pro for example, and in the description they ask for the value of the item. Is it wise to truthfully fill it in with its RM6K value? Or should i just cross out the section to prevent them delivery boys from stealing it?
