Ahh. Then it shouldn't be battery issue. What about faulty/weak remote control battery? Have u tried with the spare key?

I no get Smart tag..  cry.gif
I have tried 34psi for my front tire b4.. and although the steering feels lighter, tire grip is not really there as the tires are able to lock easily when braking hard.. So i reduced to 230kpa.. gives better braking power, and tire doesnt lock so easily.. Those Silverstone NS500 im using loses a lot of grip when u have worn down the tires beyond 50% of its life..  doh.gif
Alarm not working is not really battery gg problem..
If the car still can be started then the alarm would work fine..
Its only beyond the point of battery weakness till the car cant start then only the alarm will start going haywire..
Yeah.. 100% claimable.. Unless u have changed ur alarm system lah..

Stock tire lah.. 195/60 R15.. The wider and more lower profile the tire, the more dangerous it is to pump higher pressure, causing tire to be curved more towards the middle, so the middle thread will wear out faster.. and contact patch also lesser..
I got my car last nov but interest at 4.00% for 9 years..  cry.gif
Yeah u can do early settlement, and u can ask the bank to reduce the interest rate for u.. Normally they will reduce the interest charged by around 50%.. For my case when I ask, they say if do full settlement they will only charge 1.9% for the balance.. Unlike house mortgage however, u can make lump sum payment to reduce the loan capital and u wont incur interest for it at all, mb just a minimal processing fee, and u can do it multiple times.. Car loan however u have to do full settlement to enjoy the benefits.
*
That applies to all tyres regardless whether it's low or high profile, no? The more pressure u pump, the thread in the middle will definitely be more curved in. But the thread wear is supposed to be even on the sides towards the middle. Under-inflate it, u risk spoiling ur sidewall. FYI sidewall is more vulnerable & wears out faster than middle thread. By faster, I mean by running for ~400 KMs on low pressure u will begin to see noticeable sidewall wear. Under inflate it FC increase, rollin resistance also increase.

A thinner profile tire tend to have much harder sidewalls and more ply rates to prevent deformation, therefore when u pump the tire at higher pressure, the deformation of tire will be more vulnerable towards the middle of the tire width. Sidewalls is more vulnerable due to its construction where it need to be constructed to be able to flex to a certain degree to absorb bumps.. When a normal / high profile tire is over inflated, the over inflation can be taken by the more flexible side walls instead of transferring to the contact patch.. So thats y u get better cornering ability when u over inflate high profile tires..

Not really a lot of difference, ori Din45R is 13.4kg, din55R is 14.6kg, NS70 is 16.8kg, NX110 is 17kg.. All yokohama battery MF weight..
*
Yeah, but right now we're referring to 205/50/16, no? And it depends what u mean by the term over inflate. To me, over inflate is inflating the tyre beyond the limit that it can take.

205/50/16 isn't actually that much of a low profile tyre. Definitely lower than 195/60/15, however. A tyre with easily worn middle thread when inflated at higher pressure would mean that the thread is poorly designed (GT Radial, anyone?).

Best bet would be to actually stick to the factory recommended pressure, then increase/decrease by 2-4 PSI accordingly (assuming u upgrade to 16/17 inch or downgrade to 14 inch (why would anyone do that?)). I believe that different driving styles and road conditions commands for different tyre pressure. Furthermore with a lower profile tyre & larger rims, it's safer to pump the tyre with slightly higher pressure to avoid damaging the rims (Malaysia, notorious for the potholes).

If thats the term for overinflate then thats too dangerous ady.. For me overinflate means to go much higher than the manufacturers recommended pressure.

Lower profile tires with harder pressure will definitely help to protect ur rims from the damage, but will cause premature suspension failure from the extra force not absorbed by the flexing of tire walls.. So there are pros and cons anyways.
*
Aiyo.. Like that it'll never end la.. Pros & cons here & there.

If that's the case I'm sure most of the members here are running with overinflated stock tyres. Cos factory recommends 30 PSI front 28/29 back. Which is very very low, pancit style. Funny how they recommend u with such figures but hand the car to u with over inflated tyres. When I first got my car the tyres were inflated at around 36-37 PSI.

As for suspension failure, if pressures of around 35 PSI can really cause premature suspension failure then u can go complain to Proton d. Cos the tyres were as hard as a rock when u first get ur car. I'm sure u have fond memories of how it hurt ur back. I believe the suspension isn't that fragile in the first place.

Normally those prices stated there are RRP.. U get from distributor very cheap one..
haha.. Me i wait till warranty over then only turbocharged.. So still got 1 more year to go.. Yeah be too planning to boost around 0.5-0.65bar only.. But budget tight a bit.. hehe..
suspension failure for low profile tires only lah.. Those standard ones the walls still can flex..
I have fond memories of cornering faster than any car have ever done in most of the corners i take. .hehe..
Welcome welcome..  biggrin.gif

sweat.gif Dude, that u should be telling 17 inch low prof users (e.g: samwong with 215/45/17). 205/50/16 the sidewall soft like dono what to say lah. And for ur suspension to fail so prematurely, u have to be running on very very low profile tyres.

tis friday afternoon will sent to sc,then sat juz take d car..got three things wan to complaint

1) gearbox console got noise when v press it(i press my fren car and showroom car was dun have tis problem)
2) rear seat got kluk kluk and yiyi sound when pass uneven road..
*
Where no. 3? whistling.gif

Aiyo just live with some of the noises la.. If can fix, then fix.. If cannot fix, let it be lah.. Jz now sent my fren's father to Honda to collect his Accord.. Baru 2 months old car already masuk SC 3 times cos he complained bout undercarriage noise.. This is the 3rd time, previous 1st & 2nd time already they didnt manage to rectify the problem 100%..

I believe it's a matter of user experience.. There are more Proton owners in Malaysia than anywhere else in the world, of course there are more complaints associated with it here.. Not to also mention that QC in Proton is actually not that good.. So the effect is futher amplified tenfold..

No need big capacity or > 2000cc engine! Proton unveiled it’s Campro CFE engine with turbocharge system which have the performance equivalent with 2000cc engine , Variable valve timing and IAFM plus matched with it’s new Continuosly Variable Transmission CVT gearbox. The CFE turbo engine produced 138HP at lower 5000 RPM and 205Nm torque constantly between 2000-4000 RPM! Exora, Persona and Neo will be fitted with CFE soon.

PROTON CAMPRO FUEL EFFICIENT CFE 1.6 TURBO ENGINE + CVT GEARBOX UNVEILED!
Campro CFE is a joint development program between Proton and Lotus Engineering. The key objectives of this program are to provide a means for performance and emissions upgrades to support Proton’s future products.
This new engine will be introduced in Proton’s mid size to large vehicle.

Valve Mechanism DOHC
4 Cylinders
76mmx86mm bore x stroke
1561 cc
9.5:1 compression ratio
103kw @ 5000RPM = 138hp @ 5000RPM
205Nm @ 2000-4000RPM
Multi POint Injection fuel system

According to Syed Zainal, this is another important issue as its current Campro engine is no longer valid after 2013.

“This new engine will be offered in our high-end models like the Exora, the current Persona and its replacement and may be in the Satria Neo too,” he said.

According to him, the CFE engine boasts a turbocharging unit, coupled to a new IAFM plus and a direct injection unit.

“Initially we wanted a 2-litre engine but the trend now is downsizing the capacity. The Campro CFE proves that it is doable – we have increased power and fuel economy while maintaining the engine capacity,” he said.
Syed Zainal also confirmed that Proton will soon cease using Mitsubishi’s gearboxes.
“We will use Getrag for manual transmission and a CVT system by Punch Motive (formerly the Belgian arm for ZF),” he said.
seems like persona will use CFE soon oh brows.gif

This Syed fella, I Dono what he wants la. Sekejap say P321 is Persona replacement, Sekejap say it's not.

I'm counting the possibility of the engine debuting in the last incarnation of Persona before the P321 is released as Persona replacement. Sort of like how Persona SE came out before PE.
