As said, the fiber snorkel have irregularity, unlike the smooth surface of the ori mitsu snorkel. Will this effect anything? smooth surface will have better flow, won't it?

QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Dec 2 2011, 12:17 PM) actually THEORITICALLY it might have different ori snorkel and non ori .. Yes, that is my concern. the turbulance might cause some power loss, but as you said, a dyno is the best way to prove itthey INSIDE finishing u might not now .. rough finishing might cost air not to flow so smooth causing turbulance.. same theory apply to why ppl go Port and Polish their engine heads.. but again.. how much that difference can make ? isit negligible ..?? Dyno will tell .. lolz |

QUOTE(selinix @ Dec 2 2011, 01:59 PM) Hi fellow inspira owners, Yes, there are. There are jerking during shift of gear when i got my car. Same goes to my old City. These are easily rectified by the SC. Rubber band effect is there, and will always be there for CVT. You will feel the jerking if you got up to 80kmph, let go of the throttle and let it slow it. For me, this is normal, but since you asked, anyone tested this? Because my old city is much worse than this car. Would like some honest feedback from you guys. Is there any CVT jerking, rubber band effect on the inspira? I'm considering to buy a new car and inspira is a good option but I have a bad experience with CVT as I'm currently driving a Honda Jazz and I wonder did mitsubishi/proton get the CVT right in the inspira? |

Sorry guys, I am kinda confused right now. Here is why:
QUOTE The 4B10 1.8 litre pot found on the two Executive variants offers 140 hp at 6,000rpm and 177 Nm at 4,250rpm, while the 4B11 2.0 litre block in the Premium has 150 hp and 197 Nm at the same rpm as above. The quote above is taken from Paultan.org (http://paultan.org/topics/special/proton-inspira/). Why is the numbers significantly lower than the one said by paultan? Meaning paultan's figure is not accurate? |

Kenny, I remember that someone mentioned the throttle is limited to 85%. How is it after remap? Still there or you removed it already?

QUOTE(qqmeng @ Dec 4 2011, 11:11 PM) for those who havent changed their rims and tire... here the kisah benar... I do not think that rim is the culprit here, the tires are. So no need to change the rim, but tires, yesbefore changing when i drive thru a patch of water... it tends to pull to steering to the side.... so it can be dangerous. after changing to 17" and new set of tire... man, it is so stable... it cuts the water to half as if i m Moses.. ada gaya..and at the same time ada safety..... conclusion: DIE DIE ALSO MUST CHANGE UR STK RIM AND TIRE |
