If you're going to expect anyone to actually know the first 4 images are buttons, you've gotta put some text there at least. Right now, that 1 piece looks like a banner then a navigaton.

If possible, please advise your sis that the title shouldn't be split like that. Sure, it looks fancy but when it comes to SEO, I don't think this kinda thing would help later.

In the code I noticed that you aren't using heading tags. Hmm..

And lastly, I hope your sister and her friends have planned their blog path when undertaking this project. Running a successful blog like this isn't just a means of starting one and just promoting your products.

Companies who've tried doing so without propoer preparation and planning have faced a very bad impact. Case studies like The Raging Cow is a good one.

you shouldn't look at it as a blogger template seller.. it just so happens to be listed on Blogger. anyhow, it's a good start to a business if there are people willing to pay for blog templates.
