Today I found out that my Hotmail has been used to send out spam emails to all my contacts. I don't use my Hotmail, but I need my MSN messenger so I cannot close my account. I have change my password, but I'm worried about how the spammer got my password in the first place. Maybe they can get my new password again? What should I do to prevent this? I have Microsoft Security Essential antivirus install, and my Windows 7 is legit copy. Any idea what else could be a problem? Thanks in advance This post has been edited by Hornet: Nov 29 2011, 12:05 AM

you can use msn or msn messenger or windows messenger or windows live messenger with any e-mail, since like a decade ago. you can also change existing hotmail used with msn to other e-mail. all your contact will be there and they also will still see you. http://blogs.msdn.com/b/darrylburling/arch.../02/446702.aspxThis post has been edited by badai: Dec 2 2011, 10:59 PM
