Me too, I also started with maisto (lamboghini jota, purple color).

Well, no surprise actually, given the fact that Maisto was the most well-known and mainstream brand for 1:18 die-casts at that time. Plus the detailings were pretty good considering the low price.

Hiroki: Agree with you, it's a very minor weakness. I wouldn't even call it a defect. But I have encountered AA Reventon with a door that doesn't stay up. Turned out the spring was missing. That is definitely a defect.

SC79: The R34 Gran Turismo still can get these days? Must be very difficult I guess.
