Selling off my extra nillkin case, brand new -CLEAR BLACK-rm23, postage rm 6,cod shah alam. Sold the 1st set on last saturday.

Is there any urge to go for 2.3.6 ?
I've been using HK ROM, NZKK1 for almost a week. I find that it's not so stable, therefore, I revert back to stock ROM DXKK1.

I find this is quite true....

have you guys actually know what is the change log for the new 2.3.6?  Or just simply must update to the latest version for the sake of updating?

So is there a voice search bug in Note loaded with 2.3.5 which bother you?  If not, why need to update?

Malaysia have NOT release 2.3.6 yet. To update, you need to flash via odin (using hong kong region)

Never heard of that brand before but i guess now Taiwan's tech is quite good liou ... Somemore the other well known brand does not offer class 10 32g at the time.Just try conecting my note to my external hd (1T).I can see it on my USBStorage but cannot access it ... Other devices like thumb drive are working fine ...

i know this has been discussed before... but was there any outcome. sorry but was not really able to online the last few days... perhaps can put this as FAQ?!

Q1. Hissing sound from the charger. I do get that as well. Have read many users also faced that. I recall someone replying that it could be due to grounding or sth like that. The thing is... this hissing/ buzzing sound... is not really loud and i noticed that after a few hours, the sound is no longer there (especially if charge overnight and try to listen to it the next morning).

Q2. While charging... I noticed some parts of the screen is not as sensitive. again, I recall many also mentioned this and again, could this be due to grounding?i didn't get this with sgs2. Will both Q1 and Q2 kill the Note over long term?

Q3. Yes... This phone does lag a bit. It could be just after waking up the phone or something... But sometimes, my touch takes 1-2 seconds to register. it usually happens at the beginning when i start to use the phone -- maybe the phone just woke up or something. example: i touch the message button and sometimes  it takes 1-2 seconds before the message screen appears. again, comparing with sgs2, i've not faced such a thing before. still, in 1 day... maybe this happens only like 2-3 times la... so its a small issue.

Can anyone check and confirm? Mine is giving the buzzing/ hissing sound -- but its quite soft and you need to really be close to hear it.

cut cost?!? i dunno... coz compared to sgs2... sgs2 came with normal charger + USB cable. with the note's travel charger, the save 1 cable. the travel charger uses the same USB cable.

sgs2... i used to leave charger @ home and bring usb cable to office... easy to charge. now... have to carry both... worry 1 part left behind... the whole thing cannot use.

besides the A (output), sgs2 charger is a single piece... cable is 'together' with the adapter and not detachable like what we have with note.

i guess i might give Samsung a call and see if this is considered a defect... i am concerned about long term effects... since it also affects the screen sensitivity during charging. also, i'll probably test with the sgs2 charger and see if the screen is also affected.

the first one is one of the type which i am using now, 2nd one i just received it today..i got another 2 which i bought few months ago.... i put one in office and 2 at home.. using all of them except the one which i just received... plan to put 2 in office 2 at home 

no problem, but i have to wait till tonight or tomorrow i charge the phone again..i just charged my note this morning..


i noticed that the note compare to s2 or streak is much warmer when surfing or playing with it.. the temperature show 38degree if doing surfing.. or dl app from market.. is this normal? i not yet try play the game yet.. might go higher

changed a new charger, but still have the gas leaking noise, compare to using iphone charger is almost mute.
u will not be able to sleep well if you use the charger that close to your bed.
Anyway they will order a new one.

Hi all sifus, i feel difficulty to type msg when the phone is charging,the phone abit laggy when charging, is it something wrong? and the temperature went so high (44) ...is it the processor hot and make phone laggy abit?

i tested the charger just now, charging from 9.30pm to 12am from 23% to 100% full.. i think of trying few more time again to compare....but i tried to scroll and launch app while charging, all function normal..no lag or hang problem occur..
how long time it take for a ori charger to charge from 0% to 100%?

then try going back and see what app u install earlier and most likely caused the jam or u can try uninstall a few u think u dont use

it know that the phone is kinda laggy during charging.. Dunno why

i guess i wan to try my ori charger also to see if got those hissing sound or not..and test how long it charge..

Maybe it is some app that only run when you are plugged in. Check again on all your apps where it only runs when you plugged in.
That app probably causing the lag.

I am also using nillkin case which is nice.

The only disadvantage i find is the power connector seems loose when trying to charge the phone. Same goes for for the earphones which is having issue connecting using the case.

True, i just discovered it yesterday night when i received the case & first put on my SGN. Btw, can u show us what type of USB cable u are using to solve this problem?
