QUOTE(titi123 @ Dec 3 2011, 10:39 AM) I cannot find any option in setting that allow the weather in touchwiz to minimize or disable it. I look too big and occupied lot of the home screen which i don't like. Did i miss out something? hold on the widget, then you will see the sizes you can resize it to outlined in yellow. hold and drag the bottom right tab and resize to on of the yellow outlines

yup got my nillkin today too. used the screen protector it came with and the tpu case. finally don't need to flip open and close!!! love tpu cases because they hardly add bulk and they sure protect your phone. dropped my hd2 with tpu so many time on so many kinds of surfaces... still in 1 piece and only a small scratch on 1 button.

Why is it on umobile, alot of times no 3g network i will go to umobile 2g and when back in 3g network zone, it doesn't jump back to umobile3g? Is there a setting other than forcing only 3g network?
Thanks.

Thanks benny, good reference. Do you see the benefit in o/c-ing it to 1600 though? Also, why is it you stuck to 200mhz as your lowest clock speed and not 100 or 50? Stability issues? In case anyone wants to refer to benny's setcpu profiles, look here and scroll down: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=46994735page 98 of v3

hmmm i don't want to wipe for a rom that hardly does much more... i would wipe for ICS. No other way around that? I'm just gonna restore my backup and use it... been flashing and restoring like 8 times so far, even tried flash kka stock then rocket, still no go. after that i got stuck at gt-n7000 screen. before i flashed stock kka rom it at least booted into the animated android logo but stuck there for 30 mins, 15 mins etc

for the adventurous, XXKL3 ROM is out... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1393979I decided based on the scarce reviews, it was worth a full wipe. I mean it was supposed to be no wipe but it got stuck in a boot loop. Restoring now with TB.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Dec 17 2011, 09:58 AM) I tested it since yesterday evening - very obvious is indeed the slickest stock rom I have tried. I install directly on top of Rocket V8 without wiping phone. Everything was perfectly installed - took just under 5 mins Most obvious improvement is the baseband radio - 3G signals pickup and lockup much faster and stronger The Rocket rom developer is now working on V9 based on this new stock build Yup the moment it was flashed and running, you feel the snappinest right away. I've used TB to restore almost everything back to the way it was. Only thing I lost were call logs. Ah what the heck.

QUOTE(usucx @ Dec 18 2011, 06:56 PM) Guys, Need your opinion, i just bought ROCK NAKEDSHELL ULTRA THIN for my sgn. How to install the casing? The salesgirl said no need to put the back cover but just directly install the casing. So i was wondering need to put the back cover first before installing the casing or just put directly casing? Thanks Where did you bought it? How much was it? Does it protect the side of the screen if you put it screen down? Thanks!
