Another question, anyone know is it ok for the phone to operating in temp 50~60 degree C?

This is because just now when I tried to charge my phone and at same time using it as hotspot for my computer, the battery widget show that range of temp, worry will damage the phone, thus off the hotspot.

Anyone know is it ok to use it in this temp range? Thanks.

What do you do with the 3G and Wifi? Do you play games, Youtube, browse the net? Continuous heavy usage would be like that.
No idea because the SEP did the online warranty registration for me as he claimed that there are some things only they can do to make the warranty 2 years. Received the SMS warranty confirmation 2 days later on the 2 year warranty.

Perhaps can ask how the other owners who got their units from SEP did their warranty registration...

I am now on rocket KK6 rom with Abyss 2.0 kernel : excellent combination. Battery life overnite with 3G always on, wifi off, gps off , battery drop only about 1 %/hour. Day use can easily last me 10-12 hours ( no gaming ) : browsing about 2+hours, 3 emails account every 30 mins, refresh n update newsfeed, tweeter, facebook updates every 30 mins, few calls and about 10 sms

My phone 3G is always on 24/7 ( i am on unlimited data plan up to 3 GB ; above it will only be throttle down to 128kbps )
I am using Friendcaster Pro to replace Facebook : I can set checking updates from every minute up to every 6 hours

guys wanna ask some question about the lagging problem. i did some survey here and also GSMarena, heard lot of complains about lagging and blue tint...
i have some query about the lags especially when slide transaction and which is better if compare to iPhone4s...

Personally, when I got my SGN the first time and own it for the past 3 weeks (and not during the demo display viewing), I notice how the size is compared to the rest of the phones. However, after 3 weeks with the phone, I realize how small the screen of other phones are and how comfortable (viewing) it is with SGN. I guess it slowly gets into you. No issues carrying the SGN on trousers (again I don't wear tight jeans and not baggy trousers either). Only thing I wanted to get to avoid stares from passerby when you are on the call is a good bluetooth headset. Partly, this is also due to the low in call volume when receiving a call. Got a nice Jawbone Icon for RM270 which has a nice android app that tells the time, calendar notification, bluetooth battery status with nice human voice. Worth the $$$$ and kickass noise cancellation.

A user PM me asking me to "proof" my battery usage . Just to share to others too  screenshots showing battery usage overnite 7 hours : 3G always on. About 7% drop over 7 hours.  This was my last night - on Rocket KK6 rom and Abyss2.0 kernel
Important point is phone goes to deep sleep mode when no activity ( 77% of the time)

the 2 apps I dont think need root. just try download it n install. as my phone rooted since day one not too sure. these 2 apps not in my superuser list so probably no need root
