Guys m14x cooling not good enough? Is there really a need for the cooling pad? Don't plan to push it hard. Just play some diablo 3 occasionally only.

Noted, any other thing i should know when using the M14x? cannot wait.

really? i didn't know that is possible? T.T did you have a dealer account or something? or you use a personal dell account for the purchase? feel so stupid now, could've upgrade a lil parts in it!

btw, one question, if i decide to upgrade the internal parts of the m14x in the future is it possible? like changing to ssd, upgrade ram and so on?

share a little poison to those who are using the m14x and considering about a second hard drive (ssd, msata, hybrid etc).

yea i think it would make the warranty invalid. better to do it after warranty la. anyway received my m14x this morning. enjoying the colors of the L.E.D! hehe, setting up everything now.

heyy peeps, when using usb 3.0 whats the max speed you guys ever get? from our usb 3.0 laptop port to another usb 3.0 supported hardware. i got a max of 100mb per sec, then halfway through it drops back to about 50mb per sec. :/ installed the usb 3.0 drivers already.

from my hdd to my external hd both also usb3.0 i thought faster speed. didnt expect the usb 3.0 was mainly for ssd. heh.

anyway. i encounter some weird lag issue. whenever im watching a movie regardless of the playeri used, i get a 1-2 second lag out of no where. the sound and video got distorted and my mouse cursor lags for a second or two as well, then everything goes back to normal. weirdddd.

huge disappointment for me. found out that my m14x r2 audio distortion is due to the mcafee anti virus program. and also my touchpad alienfx light isnt changing color. tried to change it but nothing happens. grrr. a lil sad and frustrated. tried turning alienfx off and on again, tried different color, nothing happens.

very very very very reluctant to send it for warranty. enjoying it so much now. BF3, Diablo 3, Dota 2, LoL, HoN. haihhhh. the rims around the touchpad now have multiple color, pink, blue and white. mainly stuck at white. i think the plugin in itunes damaged my hardware. blink too fast or something. :/
