Hey guys, i just placed an order for alienware m14x with the discount coupon 12% and free alienware headset on this tuesday, however, the CC didnt get through so my order was canceled as i check the order status.

So i called up dell regarding my purchase that was canceled and so they said they will replace the same purchase and tomorrow might be the last day for the 12%? since its June's sales so if i could not get through the sales person in time, will they able to put my sales pending eventhough i ordered earlier so that i can still get the discounted price? Tomorrow last day of June cry.gif

Did they give you quotation? AFAIK, they can still give you discounted price since you purchased / ordered on the day of the 12% discount coupon..  thumbup.gif

hey guys, i just received my m14x r2 and there's a slight problem i would like to ask experts here

1) My ac adapter seems to have some noise like ''pzz'' or slight buzz in it, is that normal for everyone else here? its very noticeable like some suction sound unsure.gif
Should i consult dell customer care or its memang like that one due to the motor thats running in the adapter coz its huge?

2) It is normal for the cd-rom to produce sound when u close your lid or anything else?

I'm using an M14x R1

1) There shouldn't be any sounds... have you make sure that you've connected properly to the socket and to your laptop? hmm.gif

2) The CD-Rom will generate noise when starting Windows etc. IF there is a disc in your optical drive. And yes, the sound is quite apparent, which is normal since the disc is spun very quickly  laugh.gif

sometimes my M14x DVD Drive will automatically have ejecting noise while Browsing / Doing other things... eventhough no CD inside in Drive/ Eject button not press(Fn+F6). Is the problem caused by 'Turn off HardDisk after' On Battery 20minutes ?? hmm.gif using 32GB mSATA SSD and 750GB 7200RPM
